Believe we may need one more year before we take on Franklin and the worse excuse for a program that should still be feeling the effects of what was allowed there. Don't never want to have any support for that school again.ESPN projecting us to play either Penn State or Mich in a bowl. Yes please!!
You wanna compares Florida’s qb issue to ours and say they did a better job coaching in those circumstances?
Different yeah... But from a personnel management standpoint there's not really any debate as to which one required the most from the coaches... You could argue Florida had it easy in comparison... Just next man up... lolJG was supposed to be the guy and proved to be our “best qb”. We really didn’t lose any QBs so to speak.
Franks was no doubt their guy and they lost him for almost the entire season.
Both crappy situations, i think losing one to injury as opposed to one not meeting expectations is different.
So I think Callaway goes in round 3-4. Trey 4-5. Bituli and Taylor 4-6 depending on testing. JJ maybe gets drafted and Warrior makes a team as an UDFA.
Should look pretty decent to have 4-5 guys get drafted. If that happens and we get off to a good start next year, we should have a monster recruiting class.
Trask is better than Franks thoJG was supposed to be the guy and proved to be our “best qb”. We really didn’t lose any QBs so to speak.

JJ is the Al Wilson of receivers in my book.Just getting back from a customer trip-- had to watch the game in Louisiana with one fellow UT fan, a FL fan, and one that only watches NFL...
Wow what a freaking game... those boys... wow. Never gave up despite us constantly shooting ourselves in the foot, penalties, and playing once again against the Refs.
I loved seeing the quote from AtlVol about riding home with the team and us being a freight train.
Pruitt and staff are succeeding. Still made some mistakes last night, but this new staff is gelling and with the team now completely dialed in and bought in, this should be something really special. Proud of the boys last night for not rolling over when things got tough.
Completely different mindset from the players. Loved seeing Crouch get a few carries... JG stepping up and proving us all wrong... he's still not perfect, and threw some horrible passes, but the kid wants it and made the plays when necessary.
Ansley and Pruitt are truly making the most of what they have on D and very impressed at how far our D line has come this year... Shamburger and Warrior gotta tighten up and finish strong...
Absolutely ONLY thing that worries me moving forward to next year is being without Callaway and JJ... Unbelievable the grit and desire those two have --- carrying this team whenever they need to...
Hell, I'd be 100% if JJ comes back once he tries the NFL for a few years as part of this staff. You can't teach what that kid has... and it's infectious... Period.
I think if we roll Candy and put up a great performance and/or win a bowl, our recruiting will Spike and we finish strong with a few we didn't think we'd get.
I wish Trey would come back, but I believe he is gone. If I were him I'd take the money now. Nothing is guaranteed in life.I think Trey will come back for his senior season. Obviously the ability is there for a first round pick but many teams will hesitate due to past condition. He will likely show that after playing two years with condition opens up more teams to clear him.
