They did back in the day. The poster before you is wrong imo of Bearden being 2 miles away from Concord. It's much further. In 1981 Farragut incorporated in order to fight off being annexed into the city of Knoxville and I'm not sure where the Farragut city limit lines are and how much of Concord ended up being in Farragut opposed to how much ended up in Knoxville.I figured concord would go to Farragut

Well, all three of my kids were zoned, and went to, BHS. I am in the Concord postal zone, sometimes get mail addressed as Concord, TN. Also, we live in the same subdivision as Drew. So yeah, I guess I'm wrong on that. They did back in the day. The poster before you is wrong imo of Bearden being 2 miles away from Concord. It's much further. You said 3 freshmen, and in the video, I remember the question being about "the 3 of you", but there are 4 freshmen (Pember, James, Gaines, Nkamhoua), which I thought was weird. I wondered if Nkamhoua was the odd man out because of how late he came into the picture, or if the interviewer just misspoke.Always great to see local players do well for the Vols. Sounds like the 3 freshmen have developed great chemistry with each other already. The culture that Barnes has created here is second to none. We are extremely fortunate.
I'm guessing because the first 3 were Vols for a good while. Nkamhoua was a more recent acquisition. I think those 3 group texted a lot.You said 3 freshmen, and in the video, I remember the question being about "the 3 of you", but there are 4 freshmen (Pember, James, Gaines, Nkamhoua), which I thought was weird. They changed the zoning years ago and it is completely messed up now. Basically everything east of Fox road south of Kingston Pike in Concord goes to Bearden now or at least is zoned for Bearden. When I was in HS I was zoned for Farragut but I went to Bearden by choice.I figured concord would go to Farragut
Bearden is in fact within 2 miles of Concord. That is of course unless the post office has been screwing with me for around 5 decades. They did back in the day. Ever hear of Wild Bill Cherry? There are 2 Concords. The unincorporated town is much farther west than the postal zone. The Pellissippi / Kingston Pike area is Concord per the USPS but it's nowhere near the village that's been in deep west Knox county for a couple hundred years. I think that the town of Concord popped up more than a hundred years ago due to the current N-S rail line that's just north of Concord Park.
