The Impeachment Thread

Does everyone realize that after 881 pages of this thread nobody on here has changed their stance at all since prior to the hearings even starting?

That should say something.

The country is saying the same thing. The only thing that is happening is both sides are liking the other side less and less by the day.

I find it strangely fitting that Gymmy Jo's extremely gerrymandered Congressional district looks like a duck.

If you remove all context you can make a lot of foolish arguments.

But at the end of the day this argument is akin to a bank robber saying, "People withdraw money from banks every day, but when I do it is a crime?"

Or I have a bill due on the 30th yet I’m able to pay on the 20th. I wait until the 30th to pay and they cry that I could’ve paid sooner.

Yes, he did withhold the aid!
Delayed until he was able to confirm if the new President was clean. The dem witnesses confirmed once Trump found out he was good, Trump released the aid

You all lost, again. Better luck next time. I am sure you all will have another investigation starting around Feb.

That is not what the testimony showed.

I know the polls are worthless, but Trump loves them if they help him, and I am sure it bothers him if they don't. (even though he'd never admit it)

I do not like Trump and I did vote for Obama, so I would be considered partisan here, even though I'm not thrilled with any of the Democratic candidates.

I personally don’t know enough about you.

I just learned you were a female seconds ago so I don’t know if you are partisan or not yet.

But all politicians love polls when they help. I just know the polls are rigged anymore.

Now, serious question. Were you happy with the job Obama did and why do you hate Trump?

I think we should just let congress vote on when to release aid to foreign countries and once the public sees how much and how often we give away taxpayer and borrowed money things might change a little bit.

This is not complicated, no matter how hard you work at playing dumb.

If you were mayor of Maryville and you told the police chief he could get new cruisers when he started an investigation against a city councilor, you'd be in a hell of a lot of trouble.

Some Conservatives might have been swayed if it not for the fact that some on the left and in the main stream media have been shouting for impeachment before he was even sworn in and even more afterward.

It's been one thing after another against this President since he took office and despite all of that he has pretty much done everything he said he was going to do and what the American people voted him in to do and then some.

Even though the dims and the left don't won't to admit it the country is going fantastic under this President the stock market has been going gangbusters. Unemployment all across the board is at all-time lows and thanks to President Trump getting rid of some of Obama's stupid regulations, American businesses/companies are once again being built and expanding.

Exactly. Trump was seeking a personal political favor. He wasn't interested in rooting our corruption or in gauging Zelensky's own integrity. Trump simply wanted to damage Biden.
