What a strange response. You apparently have lumped everybody who disagreed with you in this thread into one straw man. For my part, I responded to BeardedVol's link to an article that used fallacious reasoning, and while doing so, I referenced a study that suggests that a different part of the brain is accessed for swearing than is accessed for all other language. Then I pointed out that there are studies that link what happens in the brain when we swear and what happens in the brain when we perform a violent action. The point of that statement was that you quipped, I quipped, you quipped, and I quipped, but somehow it led you to this post. (Incidentally, your clever, "Really, you draw that conclusion yourself or are you in neuro-biology?" is the very definition of "simple minded condescension"). What I didn't say, at any point, was what I think of such language. I have opinions on the subject, but I chose not to express them.

Don't worry about it, hardly anyone actually attempts to understand anyone else on this website anyway. We all just fire off comments based on preconceived ideas and opinions of others, it's the VN way for sure, and pretty much the modus operandi of 99% of the internet.

Don't really matter when their giving up about 10 points per game. They've given up 105 points and scored 324. That's the third widest margin of victory in the conference behind Bama 468-175 and LSU 478-238. We are sitting at 239-230, at least we are in plus territory this year though.

Face it, the F bomb has been cheapened. In my day, it was the worst of the worst. The "wash your mouth out with soap" word. It's still bad, don't get me wrong,
I blame it on Clark Gable.. When he said "Frankly Scarlet, I don't give a damn", moral outrage occurred and there has been a decline ever since. Victorian era standards have been replaced.
