The Impeachment Thread

Sure it did. Quid pro quo proven beyond reasonable doubt. Turn out the lights........
I think the Dems helped their case, but I think it's arguable as to whether it's passed reasonable doubt. That all depends on what a person is inclined to believe to begin with.

It will come down to some process crime and accusation of a coverup. Trump will more than likely be impeached by the DIMs and tried and found not guilty in the Senate. IMO, a lot of damning evidence against the DIMs will come out during the trial as well.

Dems have the vote, do they not? And they've been itching to do this since he was elected.

Didn't they also get a 30 day extension on Gov funding?
Prediction: So they'll wait until the last day or two, do their vote, not extend Gov further and then blame Trump when folks are struggling through the holidays. It'll make for some great holiday cheer.

They do but the way I see it:
Do they really want those dems who won last year in districts Trump won in 2016 on record voting for impeachment
Also that little twerp doesn’t get to control the Senate so people like Eric Ciaramella and Hunter Biden would likely be called to testify
And if they could draw it out for a long time that takes several people off the campaign trail as they would be stuck in DC for this circus

I have never thought it gets to a House vote.
I don't think the DIMs have a choice but to impeach. They will then tell their base when AG Barr and Durham start bringing charges that the charges are brought as retaliation. Only problem with that is that Barr and Durham have been on the case way before the impeachment hearings. The DIM base will buy the retaliation claim but the majority of the voters will not.

I read this to mean you are essentially saying you require a witness to a confession to consider the thing proven beyond a reasonable doubt at this point, right?
