2020 Presidential Race

If the few cases that have gone threw I am willing to bet, with no real evidence to support, that those charged have largely been white. And that there probably hasnt been a straight white (male) victim.

It's one thing for the law to be there to protect everyone from any discrimination. But the application, admitted to my confirmation bias, has been fairly targeted. Let me put it this way, when the laws got passed, I very much doubt they were intended for everyone. And I think that is wrong.

An assault is an assault. No matter their skin color, gender, sexual preference, or what they had for lunch. People are crap to each other. The differences dont really matter, they are an excuse, not a cause. Look at history, you can find more evidence of "self crime" than hate crimes. It's not something special.

🤷🏻‍♂️ Maybe straight white males just commit more hate crimes than others?

Doesn’t seem like this is a topic of great immediate or personal concern for any of you guys, which I’m very happy to hear.

Could care less if Pete is gay or straight.

But crime has increased in his city since he took over and the economy in his city is no better of than the rest of his state.

Guys resume is really lacking.

Pete released his higher education policy today, the American Opportunity Agenda.
Some highlights:

-Tuition free public college for 80% of Americans, including all families that earn up to $100,000 annually. Substantial tuition subsidies for families earning up to $150,000 annually.
-$120 billion increase in Pell Grants to pay for tuition, housing, and food costs at any university that is right for them.
-$50 billion investment in HBCUs and Tribal colleges.
-Automatic enrollment for student loan borrowers in income-based repayment plans. Loan forgiveness after 20 years of payment.
-Tax deduction for any business offering apprenticeship, internship, or work-study programs in technical fields.
-$50 billion investment for technical degree fields.

Paying for the plan:
This is part of Pete's overall domestic investment plan, which will be paid for by increasing capital gains taxes on the top 1%, rolling back Trump era tax cuts on the wealthy, and trimming health care costs.

Not only is he gay, but he’s also devoid of original political thought—two highly unelectable traits. What could possibly go wrong?

He is simply a 30-something Bernie Sanders. His policies, like those of all candidates in the current-day Democrat Party, are not sustainable. Guess what? If you polish a turd, it’s still a turd.

You can’t tax your way to prosperity and you can’t regulate your way to freedom—of which Pete is a threat to.

Tupelo isn’t in DeSoto county first of all second that county is right outside of Memphis so more likely people who used to live in Memphis move there and work in Memphis

I have nothing against opposing someone over politics or even personality to a degree, I just don't support dismissing a candidate completely simply because they are gay. Being gay does not make one a bad person.

People have different qualities they look for in a leader. Your post is yet another example of the left telling people how they need to think based on what you believe. People have different value systems and I could make an argument yours is flawed and you could make an argument your position has moral superiority.

So the plan is to promote free college so graduates can join the list of graduates that cannot pay for their loans and then have to seek loan forgiveness, all while using taxpayer money. And to think his healthcare plan will save so much money that it will allow investment in education.

He was sure to look out for the black colleges too.

Anyone can make an argument against anyone else that their value system is flawed as it is all based on opinion. But, judging someone on their sexuality isn't much different than judging someone over the color of their skin IMO. Sexuality isn't the end all be all defining character of a person.
