2020 Presidential Race

Not 2020 related, but I'm watching CNN this morning (very unusual for me) and I just have to say this Brian Stelter dude is really annoying. Not sure how he has a Sunday morning show.

Go back to the post where all of this began and yes, I think it speaks to hate. But whether you call it hate, or disagreement, or disapproval, it all comes back to projecting your beliefs on someone else and expecting them to live up to that.

How does Pete being gay disqualify him from being POTUS? If you don't like his politics, fine, then attack his politics, but what does his sexuality have to do with it. It would be like me saying your wife's fat and ugly and I'd hate to see her on TV as First Lady. WTH does that really have to do with anything? It doesn't.
Being gay in no way disqualifies him. To even intimate that is stupid. It does heavily influence hrs politics however, and that will not get my vote. When sexuality becomes party of the day to day discussion, it is a non starter. Sorry.

Not to mention a homosexual trying to preach to Christians.

I'm not a Christian. I am probably around more gay people in one week at work than you have ever seen. I have zero problem with them and their lifestyle. I don't like Pete's politics.

Please elaborate on how his sexuality influences his political decisions. And please be specific.

I have zero problem with them and their lifestyle as well I just don’t want them trying to force their beliefs on me. I also don’t appreciate being called “intolerant” or a “bigot” simply because I don’t recognize that lifestyle as “normal”. I find the act itself grotesque and nothing is gonna change that. As for Petey, I too hate his politics and feel he’s in no position to be preaching bible verses on the campaign trail.

“The lifestyle isn’t normal. I find the act grotesque. That’s never gonna change. I’m totally tolerant though.”

I asked you a legitimate question on how will Pete’s sexual orientation affect his politics in a specific manner. Stop evading a perfectly reasonable question.
it's a major part of his life. It's not mainstream as much as some on here want to say it is. It is not accepted by Islam. He has to work harder for the acceptance he needs, and nt trying to convince people that the gay lifestyle is 'normal' (whatever that means), he has to go all in with it.

Now. About your muslim brothers....

Probably the same way Barry’s did. Barry was quick to race bait wherever he could. Like most blacks he was also against gay marriage but changed his mind when he realized he could gain some political points.....of course that was after he was in office. To think Pete won’t make his peeps feel oppressed to throw them a bone is being naive

Better answer than mine.

You said that being gay in of itself does not disqualify him, but that you can’t support his politics. Yet you stated nothing on what political proposals he is specifically putting out there that you don’t agree with.

He’s a s***** mayor. He panders to mobs and admonishes law enforcement for doing their jobs. His healthcare proposal is terrible. That’s enough.
