Bernie is a prisoner to his base. If he tries to form a coalition, his base forms then into a line, administers purity tests, and immediately offends or dismembers 99% of anybody who tries to come under their tent. All he can do is gin up more excitement and hope enthusiastic votes count double.

By default. Let's see if he gets enough support to qualify for the later ones.

I see him as the biggest threat to Pete being able to make inroads into the black voting population. And didn't Warren kind of endorse Patrick just the other day? Now what's she going to say/do? Man, she creates a lot of her own problems, doesn't she?

This. The purity test among Bernie and Warren supporters is absolutely absurd, and frankly is hurting the party.

Got some Pete gear today. Bought a t-shirt, too. Bummed about the hats not being offered any more. We could have had Red Hats and Yellow Hats.

I think the point of the Bern's plan is that you won't pay as much as you do. So you will pay 4x less than what you do currently, according to the Bern.

How are the taxes I pay now for Medicare, that I don’t even receive, gonna go down when when you add a couple hundred million people to it? My private insurance premiums are also considerably more than the chart would suggest I would pay which leads me to believe even more that it’s horse 💩.
