Doesn’t sound like the Bama visit moved the needle much, I’m sure they will keep pushing. They started pushing for Theo, but he never set a visit.
“Bama was a fun visit for me just to be able to go out there and see them compete,” Washington said. “I know they didn’t win the big game and made some mistakes, but overall it was a fun visit. They didn’t really use their tight ends because their starter is out with a neck injury, but coach Nick Saban told me before the game was that he wouldn’t really feature the position. I obviously took that into consideration and know they have big plans for the position in the future. I know how they used Irv Smith Jr. and they had OJ Howard, and I know they will use one when they’ve got a good one.

“Before the visit, honestly, I wasn’t really considering Bama as much but now that I’ve been there again and heard what the coaches had to say, it was an eye opener. Bama could be a top option for me, definitely up there. I know I have to let this visit sink in.”

Yeah not too thrilling, I’d think we had no chance if he said that after visiting us but knowing our luck he’ll commit Thursday or Friday lol

That was from my Dad and he was in the AF so I guess that is where he got it from
That's pretty cool. I served from 67 to 71 during Viet Nam, but I was one of the lucky ones and was assigned to Lakenheath AFB in England. I was able to travel all over Europe and have a ton of great memories.

That's the first thing we were told in the Air Force chow hall in basic training. "Take all you want but eat all you take".

Meanwhile in USMC basic training you get 30s to shovel as much terrible food in your mouth as you can before you throw everything out and march back to your barracks to get killed.

The number of times I said "I passed up an enlistment bonus to go through this means I'm dumb as a box of rocks" to myself before I realized I was where I belonged and began enjoying the taste of crayons.

My Dad was stationed in Japan during the Korean War. He was discharged in 55.

He told Hank South, Alabama 247, that he is thinking about moving his decision up to December 12th. That is his mom’s birthday. He said he could decide right now if he needed to. He is headed to Oregon soon, I think this weekend. He said his last official visit will either be to UT or Miami.

I assume/hope if he commits on December 12th that he will move his last OV up.
