30 below is the coldest I have ever experienced.

When I lived in Wyoming you could count on a high pressure during the winter that would last a week or two with lows every night of 25 below.

One night after one of these stretches I was closing the bar - as a bartender, not a customer. I was taking the recycling and trash out without a jacket because it felt so warm. I thought it was probably 30 degrees, but when I drove by the bank sign the temp read 0. Zero actually felt quite warm.

Yeah. I’ve got a place in Steamboat. It gets -20 even in the valley. On the slopes ⛷ it doesn’t feel as bad tho with sunlight as long it’s not dumping snow.

We would go skiing to avoid the extreme cold. Thanks inversion. Spend all day on the mountain where it would be 25 degrees, then come down and hit that layer where it was zero, you felt it immediately.

They call me uppity, but you gots houses everywhere.

I have been to Steamboat.
