Honestly, FSU hiring Deion isn't that different than Memphis bringing Penny in. Deion has been around the high school game with his Primetime Academy in Texas. You'd think he'd be able to recruit at a high level. so all he would need is a veteran staff to guide him through the process. I definitely think it would be a dumb hire when you consider the other possibilities, (How they aren't knocking Norvell's door down blows my mind) but I wonder if higher level coaches are afraid of the expectations to win with Clemson looming and a weak roster. I don't know how interested I would be in a school who fires a coach halfway into his 2nd season.

Did you see where Penny has already committed a recruiting infraction and his stud 7 footer is ineligible this year? Seems Penny paid for him and his family to relocate to Memphis when the kid was in high school.

Maybe it’s been a while since you’ve seen a good QB or maybe you just have no clue what a decent QB looks like👀🤷🏽‍♂️ But just to put it into perspective of how bad JG really is,As it stands right now JG in 3 years has thrown a whopping total of 27 TD’s
(3 Years!) Thats exactly the number total of Touchdowns Josh Dobbs Threw In his Senior (Season)👀😭😂😂

I think Kentucky will come out slinging the ball, not saying they will be successful, but I think they will try and get up on us quick. I hope we are ready.

He just wants the team to be great again and that isn’t going to happen if the fanbase isn’t depressed and fatalistic. 😏

The coaches were supposed to be great recruiter and are some of the highest paid in the business. Besides Neids what on field coaches gets talked about for pulling their weight in recruiting?

I'm not sure you can compare JG to JD but if you do does your comparison still hold up if Josh Dobbs only threw a whopping total of 26 TDs in his first 3 years here?

Josh Dobbs – first 3 years – 26 TDs, 16 Ints
Jarrett Guarantano – first 3 years (with at least 3 games to go) – 27 TDs, 10 Ints

This judicial tyranny is out of control. Why doesn't a judge in wherever um IUD or whatever that school is overrule the other judge 10 minutes later? It's idiotic.

Very good question on line movement, and what to infer from it. The line opened in UKs favor, and then the market immediately repriced the line, meaning that lots of bets we're coming in on Tennessee. Hard to say if it was sharps or the public, but early moves tend to be decent predictors of market sentiment. Early in the week, lines move with the crowd.

Since then, the market has steadily moved towards UK. A slow and continued progression in one direction tends to reflect public money going in UKs direction.

It takes a bit of guess work to infer when the "sharp" money comes in. But this close to the game, if you see the line swing back to where UK gets the points, that's a sign of sharps seeing value on Tennessee as a dog. It's not that they know more or have insider information, but their predictive models find value.

In college, point spreads like this are basically a toss up. This is a great example of finding arbitrage in the markets, depending if you're backing the Vols or UK from a betting perspective. About as even money as you can get, which you have to love because you remove the house advantage.

Someone make sense of the NCAA and Shelby County Judge connection? So basically NCAA, a private org, says he is ineligible, according to our little black rule book. County judge puts that "on hold"...now what? NCAA makes its own rules as a private org...do they just say they will vacate any wins Wiseman steps into? And what can a county judge to further step in and tell a private org what they can or cannot do if they aren't breaking laws themselves?

I don't fully understand how the ncaa and a county judge's rulings interact or supercede one another.

I merely want Penny and Memphis to come out looking bad either way. Eff that douchebag...and that's coming from a childhood fan of his~

Lol..ok...his total of Td’s thrown here were 53 nobody was complaining then because we were winning ball games and actually making bowl games...Interceptions come with balls actually being thrown down field,that’s just football..again you’re looking at the percentages and stats that everyone raves about when it comes to JG being drafted and it won’t happen because when you go in-depth of JG’s football play and IQ..it isn’t good at all..he can’t even read a defense and his work load has to be minimized...so defend him if you want.each to their own.😁

Good for you giving your tix away. I'm not being sarcastic, good on you, assuming it's true of course.

I believe the prices are more reasonable than they are at most entertainment venues. Granted more expensive than your comparable local restaurant, but not as bad as some places.

There are plenty of posters here who don't have orange tinted glasses, but their criticism isn't constant and illogical.

For now I completely trust these coaches when it comes to recruiting, especially on the defensive side. Well, on both sides. And certainly more than I do the recruiting services. We've heard the story; this kid is new and a pretty much a secret for now, so no offers. CJP has tons of contacts in AL and apparently found him before others.

But none of that even addresses your post here where you apparently tried to complement BM and it ended up just criticizing another player.

Just my take on it.
