I saw one where he called you an ignoramus that some one quoted, I couldn't follow it back maybe cause it was deleted. I figured he was right anyway.I'm mad cause dude in the ff I've been going back and forth with and he's been calling me names, quoted me this morning and it got deleted before I got to see what it said.
Out wifi was out all day yesterday. Little bit tried playing her game when she got home. Soon as she sit down I heard, "oh my gosh, did you all not pay the bill".Yesterday was maddening for me! Our wifi connection at home has been pretty poor. We have an old modem/router combo, so I was going to take it in for an exchange. I scheduled an appointment and they were running behind because they only had one person working!!!! WTF. Full lobby and one person. Eventually another person came out to work, but still that was not enough for the crowd. So anyways, I exchange the modem and ask the guy if the wifi will just come right back up when I connect. He said yes, if not call tech support and they will get it to work. I get home, and it will not connect. Call tech support and they told me "the modem you were given does not support wifi, so you will have to go back and exchange it." I of course gripe about having to take time to go back to the store as it is an inconvenient location and I already waited the first time around when I shouldn't have, and they need to send someone. Crickets...no response. Ok, whatever, I go back and I do not put my name on the list, the lobby is even more crowded at that time. I walk straight up to the desk of the guy and wait until he finishes with the other customers he is working with. Don't care if the other people waiting get pissed off because I march right in to the guy. I tell him he gave me the wrong modem. He smartly handles my issue instead of telling me to put my name on the list and wait. He tells me, it's the only modem they have, and that he couldn't have given me the wrong one...unless....it was a modem/router combo. I tell him It was....oh then in that case that is my bad. WTF dude, pay attention. Back up and running and connection is amazingly better, but what a waste of time and energy that could have easily been avoided.
Been there done that. And with me having knowledge on how the crap works it really ticks me off when you used to have to call to get the modem activated and they give you BS reasons why they can't get it activated and it's because they gave me a used bad modem and had to drive 40 min one way to get another one.Yesterday was maddening for me! Last time we moved we had to get our modem "re-activated" at the new address. Which is just stupid. They said it would be a week to do because of some lame excuse or other. But if we had bought a new modem it could be done right away. So I hung up and had my wife call saying she had just bought this modem used from someone. Activation granted. Jerks. F comcast.Been there done that. I never had an issue. This was back in 2003 maybe? Anyway, it was expensive but fast and reliable.I had a pretty nasty issue with AT&T over service and billing so they and comcast are alone at the top of my "I loathe you" list. That was before we had them for DSL. I would not have had their DSL if there had been any other option available.
