I know this may be a little advanced...how moist (that word makes some people cringe) was your wood? I only ask because if the moisture content is to high, it may bow/bend on you.

None of us need to know about BassMasters Wood. Lets keep it PG in here. Kids read this board. Come on Man

Hiring Deion would be like hiring MJ to coach your basketball team. Those hyper competitive narcissistic uber talented dudes are NOT coach/teacher material. He would spend 75% of the practices hounding the DBs and asking them why they weren't as good as him in his prime.
🤣😂🤣....definitely see that happening

🤷‍♂️

Went to Home Depot and told the dude who worked there I was building an outdoor sofa. Asked him which wood to use and he pointed me to these pressure treated 2x4’s so that’s what I bought.

Marriage retreat this weekend. It will be nice, but I’ll miss the game and hope to avoid the score till Sunday night when I can catch the YT Tv. Bama vs LSU also out for me.

The things I do for love

Id rather have to pull an Andy Dufresne than go to a Marriage Retreat esp during college football season

Pretty much any lumber, especially 1*4s and 2*4s, but even with larger cuts, that comes from a big chain store like Home Depot or Lowes is going to be somewhat green and moist. It helps if you can store the wood in a dry place for a for a few days, laid out flat with some sort of heavy weight evenly distributed on top of the lumber. But most definitely don't let the wood be exposed to even more moisture after you purchase it.

A lot of the cut lumber in those type of stores is already badly warped on the shelves, so it is always a good idea to inspect each piece of lumber as you take it off the stack, such as laying the pieces on the floor, both flat and on one edge, to check for bowing. Certainly takes some time if you are buying a lot of pieces, but will save you a lot of aggravation when you start working with the lumber and find a piece or two that you purchased are unusable.
