Teach them how to handle things the correct way. A high school coach is a mentor for helping kids as they become men. Read it again and perhaps your small brain can actually comprehend the post. Damn, sometimes you can’t understand things that are plainly written or read one sentence then go to argument mode.
He knows.

Teams are going to get banged up this time of year. That's football. If the progress we've seen is real rather than a mirage we'll find a way to win despite being banged up.

Pruitt seemed a bit frustrated today, both in his post practice media appearance and tonight on Vol Calls. Obviously the day didn’t start off the way at least many here expected but Pruitt said we also had a bad practice today which was an outlier for this year. In the past I’ve heard him say in postgame comments after a loss that our performance in the game was a reflection of our practice that week.

He said we only have 63-64 healthy scholarship players right now and I assume some of those are guys who haven’t really played yet. On Vol Calls he said you have player led teams and coaches led teams. Most of the year so far he’s praised the leadership of our players; tonight he said when the players who are leaders step back we go back to being a coaches led team. He said we’re a coaching led team right now and we need our coaches to get their guys going.

Maybe the guys on the team were just as disappointed as the fans in the early morning news but Pruitt has that fight on mentality and he seems to be pushing both his staff and his players to pick it up and get ready for the game this Saturday. Assuming we've gained even a little bit of maturity over the past year I've got to believe we'll shake this off and come out on Saturday focused on the game at hand. jmo.
Definitely not feeling good heading into Saturday after that presser. Pruitt even said he didn't like the spot (yuck). The QB's and the Oline situations worry the heck out me. KY has their QB settled and the guy is red hot running the ball. Mediaheads/bookmakers are saying they think KY is tougher and more physical than us and Stoops needs this win big time if he's going to remain in the FSU conversation. So situationally speaking--this is not setting up well for our Vols. The coaches have to know this is a must win and push these kids to focus and steal this game. Fingers crossed--GBO!

We worry about every team. It is what we do. But it will be apparent after about ten minutes that we are better and we just need to play our game and win. We were worried about MSU and they had a bye before us. And they beat KY.

If we are a tired beat up football
Team and can’t win the flip
Sides going to mizzu .

Just give me a shot to beat Vandy at home to go bowling and ill be one fired up SOB

You’re blaming a high school and a high school coach for the kids decision and the way he went about it. You want to blame his lunch lady too? Or what about his bus driver? A kid didn’t pick to play at UT doesn’t mean he’s a bad kid or that his coach did anything wrong. Grow up lol

mcallie high school or that coach doesn’t need anything from UTs staff lol. If a player is good enough he will get recruited. Hardy situation has no impact on it like that.

God I really don’t want to go into Vandy week needing a win to secure a bowl AGAIN. We’re beating KY this Saturday night. Then resting up and smacking Mizzou. Rolling into bowl season 7-5 and into 2020 8-5 ready to rock! Book it!

Damn. We are playing Kentucky, not Bama or LSU, and we are walking into Kroger's and taking their groceries. I wouldn't even call it stealing. Because stealing seems sneaky or lucky to me. Imo, we physically dominate them on both sides of the line of scrimmage and take their groceries while looking right at the Wildcats and daring them to stop us. They can't and UT will prove the mediaheads/bookmakers wrong. Hell, the bookmakers have already been proved wrong just because of the mad movement of the line on this game. Didn't the line go from UT +4 to UT -1 ?
