That feeling when you realize the Vols would be ranked about #18 if we’d taken care of business against GSU and BYU.
Ga STATEwas a learning lesson - required to feel what its like to lose & lose bad. rankings mean squat to me in comparison to our improvement & the shifts in attitude. That can only be quantified or ranked in on field attitude.
if it took a stomping by GA Southern and BYU to unlock the leadership potion for this team - i guess that's what has to happen. we had a losing attitude, Jeremy was spot on. We had to want it.
Will they continue to let their circumstances control their behaviours? KY is a big test, sadly. They may win this game. We need to come out and hit them on the chin.
Honestly, we dont deserve to be ranked. I like this team, its one of my favs. But, they arent good enough to be ranked.
You wanting more focus on negativity- not surprising
You believing there's a lack of Knoxville media "speaking up" about negatives - ridiculous but also, not surprising.
3 straight posts about Travis and he wasn't even the discussion? You’ve completely missed the point. I don’t want negativity I want truth good or bad. When Travis Haney wrote his article about the terrible culture under Butch Jones he was run out of town by our fans. “Well, he don’t know nothing. He shouldn’t have written it like that. Who are his sources?” And on and on. Instead of investigating his claims we just shot the messenger.
Turns out Haney was telling the truth, and we should have listened, but because we only tolerate positive press we had to burn the witch. People should have listened to him. I’m just saying we don’t need to make the same mistake with another person because the tone of his tweets.

I'm sorry your cousin or whatever lost his job but that was on him. Doesn't matter how true a hit piece article is, if you're going to do one that intense, you HAVE to bring evidence.
It's incredible to me that part escapes you.
But it's a game of football, you act like this is freaking congressional hearings or something. Running around talking about Travis and Basilio like they're freaking Woodward and Bernstein, no wonder you can't enjoy it.
Just saw this...no problem and disregard my last message then lolAh thanks. My bad @tnhunter 10
Yea i mean sometimes you just lose games Even to lesser talented teams. It happens. I’m just saying we were undoubtedly more talented than both of those losses.Agree on GS but QB play was huuuge in BYU. Along with a missed defensive assignment. Could it have been coached better? Absolutely, but most games can. It was coached well enough to win, though.
