This game scares me more than it should i think. I think kentucky knows they won’t be able to really pressure us so i think they are going to sit back in cover 4 most of the game. They don’t want to give up big plays like Miss State and SC. It’s gonna be important for us to run the ball and be patient in the passing game.

Bobby made this program, but I predict it’s on a long road back to being an also ran. What is insane to me is how fast this all happened, and the talent on that team outside of cam Akers is minimal.

Going off the cuff a bit, but I believe I read their defense was top-5 in "paper talent". Which makes it even more embarrassing how they are giving up a sick 29 ppg vs that schedule. The Sunday article from an ESPN guy on their guys "chirping" and being all show weighs heavily.

I'm indifferent to our offense and STs. I think we find 24-33 somehow, some way. I think this game is won or lost on us giving up big plays on defense. If we contain Bowden and Smoke, we win. Much like last year vs Snell.

Our DL is paramount to affecting run plays. Don't have to make all the tackles, but like vs an option team, they must affect the run and force the play toward the 2nd and 3rd level tacklers and slow down the plays.

I agree. This team needs to keep playing with a chip on its shoulder. UK is looking at this as a revenge game. We need to come out with fire. These last three games -UK, Mizzou, and Vandy- are all about proving we're still UT and not some third rate school that belongs on their level.

I suppose that really is what they should do. Especially since long throw scores early by us would put their run game in a hole.

Get ready for the “we are on their level until we win against them consistently” crowd. I will never see us on their level and no, I don’t need a history lesson.
