Lost to UF, albeit in a fairly close game. Lost to MSU. Beaten soundly by USC. Didn't score vs UGA. Nearly lost to atrocious Arkansas. Had a nice win vs Mizzou, but Mizzou is ass, as they lost to Wyoming and Vandy.

Seems like they've had one good year under Stoops and that was it. And they still managed to lose to our 5-7 squad.

So what are we going to need to do to beat KY this weekend? Everyone around here more interested in the F'n FSU hire and not the task at hand... I hope folks aren't getting cocky thinking we are just going to roll in there and whip them... we haven't played away since bama and KY plays tough at home...

How is there QB situation going? They've had an off week to prepare for us...

If we can find a way to come out and play four quarters like we did against SC, I don't think we lose another game... we come out like UAB and 5-7... simple.

Well... I’ve not done the thread yet, but I’ll give a detailed rundown

1. Play the way we’ve been playing
2. Defend the run knowing it’s coming 89% of the time.

I would love to see our defense play like they did against UAB.

LOL, I like it... a lot... stack the box and make them throw it... I am less worried about our Defense and more worried about our O with the QB shuffle and O line play last week... Palmer has to quit dropping balls and play more aggressive.

dammit we should have 6 wins right now... at least 5 if AT doesn't get burned on a 65yd pass where he let the TE get behind him at the end of the game vs BYU... ugh. can't shake it...

I dunno. I think of it as...we might not have beaten MSU/USC if we had beaten GSU/BYU. Maybe the team wouldn't have had the fire/urgency. Or we might have had a huge letdown game vs UAB. Just get to a bowl game and all is forgiven. No real difference between 7-6/8-5 IMO.

Okay let's reframe the discussion. Where are the Vols passing yards going to come from this week against UK?

Good way to look at it, I'll allow it, but it definitely hurt us with some recruits like Jarrett and Gilbert... Hopefully our team is feeding off these wins and good play, coming together and peaking at the right time... we can do it, we just can't have another let down...

JJ, Calloway, Keyton, Tillman, and Palmer/DWA... but need more to come from DWA... Palmer gotta quit dropping balls.

could get a few from Byrd...

Dude seems like a lifer like Chavis or Chaney. Happy to make top g5 HC money without all the pressure of being a HC. Can't blame em. Most of us workplace 'losers' would do the same according to the Gervais Principle.

Ball distribution will most likely depend on who the QB is. I feel like Maurer is more successful at spreading the ball around.

It does seem that way. He might actually be waiting for Clemson to open up if Dabo ever goes to Bama.

With the way LSU has looked this year I doubt winning those games would have mattered much. Maybe with some other guys but not those two or BJ Ojuloyalty.

Well, your first problem is that you listened to a Wes Rucker podcast and apparently went into it expecting it to be something other than annoying.
