Her grandfather was admitted to the hospital today and the doctor wants to perform open heart surgery. The reason is because he has 70% blockage in 3 areas of his heart and 90% blockage in the 4th. He is not consenting currently most likely due to him having some depression recently. He has been through a lot medically lately including prostate cancer (which is actually going really well right now), just had a shoulder replacement, and has had both knee replacements a few years ago.

So if you can, please say some prayers for peace and God to move in this situation. He is saved. Thanks guys and gals.

Do you see a lot at the OP? Wife and I get free tix each month just to poster downtown ~an hour each month. Also really enjoy Salvage Station more and more too with their big stage, along with new belgium, highland, and pisgah. So many good venues around here, only wish we could attract some of the bigger shows that go around us to Charlotte, Upstate, and Atl.

Whoa, slow down. its good.

There's plenty better. User Your Illusion, **** by Van Halen, & Black Album by Metallica are much more solid. And thats just literally what percolated to my brain. Poison & the crew are in there.

I grew up up in Asheville but have lived in Portland OR for about 10 years. Lots of good venues here and San Francisco is a short flight for rarer acts.

any sign of the hippies that used to live in asheville back in 90's? if you find them, can you ask them to come back? it's full of hipsters & halfbackers now.

Met Chris one time, he and some chick pulled into the liqour store next door to the McDonalds we had just walked out of at West Paces Ferry rd exit in the ATL...really super cool dude amd very gracious to us. My work partners happened to have BC CDs in the van, and he signed them both...very nice guy.
