Just look at viewership for the marquee college game of every week vs the marquee pro game. Across the country except for the south pro wins almost every time. Heck the super bowl gets 3 or 4 times more viewers than the CF championship. I guess you can cherry pick some states where the college team has been above average to dominant recently and the respective NFL team has been horrible forever to make your case, but overall pro football draws heavier than college outside the south.

He claimed that college football was only big in the south. It ain't. Many of the largest stadiums are in the north. Also. There are only 32 NFL teams. There are over 100 BCS teams alone so there are fewer games to watch. College football is huge.

Driving from Rutherford County every home game, I live these problems.

That climb on the east side of Cookeville always has a huge slowdown.

I get the guy that is riding behind the truck in the middle lane for 10 miles. At least until I get there and that's when he suddenly HAS to pass. Right in front of me...for the next 10 miles, but he couldn't wait 10 more seconds.

Why Tennessee does not have at least three lanes on each side of the Interstate state-wide with the amount of trucker traffic and population growth in 2019 is unbelievable... hell, even Kentucky does!
