No not what i wasnt trying to say or limit it to just well off white guys. Just people in general have a lot of closet racisms that they can’t be real or open about so a guy like clay who is very smart and a strong personality has found a niche that plays directly to those people. He didn’t used to be as political, race, or just a witch hunter. I used to enjoy him bc its mostly just funny random stuff with sports mixed in.

I just think he’s went extreme that way.
Maybe there is a niche because a lot of people are sick of double standard Isms. Isms are not limited to any color, gender or lifestyle.

Sorry for the political post people. I usually stay away from this crap.

Wth is up with this spread? Espn shows it as 12.5 now. Don't think I've seen this much movement in a spread

Not touching this market at all. That's substantial reverse line movement, not predicated on any kind of news. Much better value to be found elsewhere.

Vols are going to win, but way to much volatility for me to have any bit of confidence to lay money on the spread. If I had to pick, I'd take Tennessee to cover though.

That is the rule everywhere. Which is you apply for a waiver and try to get an exception to the rule. I do think it would be much harder though because coaches will fight them harder. We tried with Gibbs, no luck. UF is now trying with Cox and was originally confident, but he's gotten no answer yet either. I'd bet Kirby is gonna fight it like hell.

I'm no expert here, just going on what I understand it to be (so I could totally be wrong).

Has there ever been a case where an undergrad was allowed to move within teams "in conference" (SEC) without sitting out a year? since the transfer portal system was put in, I'm not aware of any.

Also, I'm fairly confident that they did not apply for Gibbs on hardship, they knew (and this was discussed by Pruitt) that he would sit out the year.

The only cases I know were from Ole Miss's probation (Van Jefferson).

Of course they only began open transfers a couple years ago, so the sample size is still very small.

I'm quite certain Gibbs had a waiver filed. This was talked about for a very long time. Pruitt merely implied they weren't really expecting that one to get approved. Cox has also applied for one and UF was confident at first.

It's a possibility. I just think a very slim one. Maybe Cade could say Kirby made him comb his hair over each morning. Sounds like abuse to me.

I am not a big fan of Clay. He got big through sensationalist journalism. But, I agreed with his take on the NBA and China. His takes these days are usually supported with sound arguments, too.
I was a fan until he realized that the easiest grift in America is pandering to angry white guys

oh there’s all kinds of double standards I’ll agree with that. I just think he’s very exhausting on things like defending “the other side” of arguments like that bc he does it to a fault.
For example the NBA debate on the players not wanting to use the term “owner”. If the players, the ones who are the product and doing 99.9% of the revenue drawing do not feel comfortable using that term or wanted to call them chiefs, presidents, clowns, or whatever does it really matter lol. If any person, race, or whatever isn’t comfortable with something is it really THAT important to you to be able keep doing something that’s not cool with someone else.

I’m okay with that being our letdown game as long as we still win. I don’t think there’s any way this team lets another GSU happen, not with a bowl still a very realistic possibility.
That's my thought, I feel like we have been playing above average the past little bit so I think we may have a slight letdown this game but squeak out a win. UAB hasn't played very good opponents but they're not a pushover

Pruitt: Hair is overrated.

Clay's trope of railing against woke culture is almost as tiring as woke culture itself. I get it, Clay. Everyone needs to toughen up...

People need to pick their fights and that includes Clay himself.
Fighting whatever and whenever he likes seems to have worked for him. Doubt he feels an inclination to change.
