For 99%, yes, it will make no material difference.Oh yeah. $100 is where it will stop..
Naive much?
Almost leaning toward Shrout. JG can't even hand off and Maurer...I'm just worried about that dude for real.
Shrout really showed us something last week. Wouldn't mind him playing all game. Or, start Maurer if he's 100%, but if we get up 2 or 3 TDs, sit him and let JTS finish things. Don't run him either. Just don't want to see Maurer get knocked out 3 times in 4 weeks. Really really don't like that thought. We could end up talking more than just him not playing rest of this season.
There’s a reason the NFL fights that all the way to the Supreme Court...most recently with Maurice Clarett. You can’t work for Federal Express or UPS when you’re 18. Make a living in Canada or get a real life job.I don’t think they should be paid in college, but I do believe they should have the opportunity to turn pro at 18 and make a living if they choose.
I think Bama and Clemson and a few more are way beyond the norm. When's the last time you saw a booster purchase a failing business from a recruits dad for $100's of thousands of dollars? I don't think the Vols are clean by any means but I don't think they're on the level of some of those programs.
I think it has more to do with an established network of boosters that through middlemen pass money to recruits. I think our network had deteriorated over the past few years because of the UTAD. It takes a while to get get that back up and running. It’s probably related to on the field success. We can’t offer as much without looking suspicious. We can cheat a bit but mostly have to offer playing time. The better a program is on the field the greater the benefit of the doubt they get when cheating their asses off.
I can only speak for Michigan and Pennsylvania, but yes they do. Pennsylvanians don't really follow Penn St on the whole. Moreso graduates, many which are from out of state and move after school. Penns are all Eagles, Steelers, Phillies, Sixers fans foremost.I’d say those markets care about the Bears, Lions, Steelers, Eagles and Packers as much if not more.
It is..and the ones cheering this garbage do not seem to understand that this destroys what makes CFB great.College football is evolving into something that I'm not sure will be as good as what we've had in the past. I'm not just talking about paying players. I'm all for free market and people making money anyway they can as long as it's legal but it will change college football negatively. Amateurism is what makes college football different than pro football. You take the amateurism out of college football and you have a semi-pro league. I'm afraid that many of the things we love about college football will be gone forever in the next few years.
There's a reason you don't find 100,000 seat stadiums in the NFL.@InVOLuntary
Just Google most watched or most followed college teams. Any results are gonna be filled with teams above the Mason Dixon also.
Not that I assume you're basing your belief on internet guy and his stories of random in laws. ffs.
