Lucks light red kidney beans, that's one of the secrets
We use dark red and a can of pintos. One of my secrets is to take your ground meat and make it into patties and grill them rather than brown on the stove. Then crumble them up. Adds a nice smokey flavor you can't get anywhere or any other way. We should have a chili recipe thread or something.

I enjoy trying different chilli styles. I actually mix 2 different seasonings in mine, but it makes such a good flavor
 
There is a method of cooking chili on the grill where the meat is above the pot and cooks and drips into pot. I've never done it but want to try at some point

Nancy, who cuts my hair, is a lady from Vietnam. Some dude in here getting his cut just asked her, " I guess being from Vietnam your diet is rice, fish, and some weird stuff isn't it?" 😂 I'm gonna laugh if she shanks him with the scissors.
 
I think he just recovered. He said "at least your people aren't overweight like Americans"😂 this dude is a smooth talker!
