One thing that needs to be said: This SC DL pushed GA's all everything OL around 2 weeks ago. They were all over Fromm and GA had no answer. Our OL pushed SC DL around easily on Saturday. We owned them at the line of scrimmage.
Yep. Our OL improvement can’t be stressed enough. Our QB’s have time in the pocket. Teams will have to start bringing extra guys to stop the run and get pressure.

Vandy has something like it for baseball. Except it's not for walkons. It's a foundation that raises money that allows them to offer more than the allotted scholarships.
As long as Tony V is our baseball coach, that Vandy program won't matter much. He's signing the top players that Vandy would normally sign. Also, it doesn't hurt that Fulmer is giving Tony the resources to upgrade our facilities. We're getting pretty close to being a power in baseball again.

Wow

That program will
Always matter as long as they have that coach under these rules

Sorry just an awful take otherwise

If it were me....I would start JT.

Was just thinking that, from a "momentum" standpoint, he played lights out to finish off USC. Came in and went 7/11 for 122 with a TD (which was one of the best passes of the season, right up there with Maurer's 73 yard pass against Georgia).

Give him the start and see how he handles it.

Shrout's arm is Brayish IMO.
T'was impressive.

I definitely like JG coming off the bench, don't know why it's working, don't care.

Maurer brings a run threat and that's always helpful. But here's where it gets interesting. Pruitt mentioned our younger guys throwing interceptions and if you went off of hs, you'd think JT more than Maurer. Buuuut... forget practice, Shrout hasn't thrown one in a televised event has he?

Still think it's a good problem to have. Going to get really interesting and hopefully really fun, lol.

JT’s pass was just perfect.

He has decent wheels too compared to what people have been saying. He could take off and get some yards if plays break down.

Baseball now, Basketball, possibly Lady Vols and Football coming back...could you imagine being a 2021 Freshman?!?

I like Maurer's accuracy. Up front in stride and in the hands a lot. JG's accuracy was great as well Sat.
Shrout has more pocket presents than I thought. That one play he was about to take a sack and he rolled out and threw it off his back foot OOB beyond the LOS and the commentators quickly questioned if intentional grounding. Chucked it on a rope about 30 yards.

Why am I not surprised...

Our passing game was outstanding and our OL played incredibly on Sat. against a salty SC defense and what do we see in this thread? Pittman is suddenly overrated and of course, rather than crediting JJ and our QB's for the passing game, its just that SC's passing defense isn't that good. Far be it from the usual suspects to give our coaching staff and players any credit.
