I wasn’t worried, but I was a college student drinking brown liquor during the rainy Arkansas game. We expected to win at that point. After UF goalpost takedown, the Auburn goal line stand (I was in the end zone bleachers), the UGA beatdown which I witnessed with ESPN game day present. We expected to win.For those of you that remember: were you worried about Arkansas pulling off something crazy to win in 1998 after we went up 28-24 after Stoerner fumbled and Henry gashed them? We kicked off with 28 seconds left.
How about when we fumbled with 1:29 left on the clock vs FSU, up 23-16, in the 1999 BCS NC game?
I feel like both situations would cause countless heart attacks among the fanbase now due to a decade+ of BVS, especially with so much on the line. I don't remember feeling worried about losing those games after either of those events happened, but then again, I was a kid, and we also picked off FSU immediately after turning it over, so there wasn't much time to dwell on what happened.
Been raining all day nonstop here in MemphisLooks like it’s going to be a nice afternoon for football throughout the game

I'm cheering for every possession to end in a kick. Whether it's a FG, XP, or a punt. If we live up to that I think we'll be ok.I hope we don't find out on Saturday by not punting at all (and to any football gods that might be listening, I am not saying that I want us to turn it over seven times).
I'll be there as usual but I hope we can pack it out and get Neyland rocking! Bad news ut's they are offering alumni $10 tickets in the student section. Which tells me there wasn't a great turnout from the students. Not a good sign in my eyes. Go Vols!Good, I’d rather have a packed Neyland rocking and rolling in nice weather, which can be a huge influence in a game, than try to calculate which team a wet rainy scenario helps in some way.
I don't even consider that swagger when he celebrates. I usually cringe when he does this weird muscle flex/talk to himself when he celebrates. Just a very weird, unathletic guy. You would never think his Dad was this elite college athlete.JG only shows emotion or swagger when he's done something good. Never seen him sprint 80 yards down the field to congratulate someone else for a TD.
