some think so. if there is, i think it's very slim....

i know pruitt really likes Banks and Banks thinks a lot of pruitt, so i won't rule it out 100%.....but what happened with thim was a really bad look from a title ix standpoint, and from just an attitude standpoint regarding violence against police and women.

Thing to remember is Banks said some stupid things...but from all I've seen/read his issues with the police are now resolved. The video & his behavior are unfortunate, but he didn't attack anyone or cause any sort of property damage (that I'm aware of). So who knows, seems like a second chance could be in order. Especially if he has no more problems and takes care of his academic obligations.

I think we start Shrout Saturday. There is no game film or tendencies for SC to prepare for. I’d like to see a max protect with Jennings and Calloway on same side to start game. One run post and the other go. Play action throw that b***** deep. Just so it’s out there that we will.

That's what I want to see also. Shrout apparently has the strongest arm on the team but not ready mentally to manage a game and make a ton of throws. So tell the OL, TE's and WR's it's time to block like they've never blocked before, run the ball 75% of the time, control the clock and throw some deep PA passes down field to our big WR's. Tell Shrout if you miss, miss high and long. NO TURNOVERS!

I want to see the defense stuff the run, dominate the LOS, make SC throw it. Secondary should get a couple INT's, Front 7 should force a fumble or two. Give good field position to the Offense.

Control the LOS on both sides, don't turn the ball over and Just win the damn game.

Win the field position battle. No TOs. Run effectively against the SCAR D. Stop Feaster and force Hilinski to throw. Get SCAR to give up the big plays, which they're prone to do.

Muschamp said Hilinski had a great week of practice while JG's was unspeakably bad. We need Chaney to make Shrout the new Maurer. (Or get the old Maurer back.)

One thing we can look forward to with Shrout is he will throw the deep ball. Quez or Palmer should get behind the defense at least once tomorrow.

Hilinski's first 2 games as a starter he threw for 606 yards and 4 TD'S. In his last 4 games he has thrown for 592 yards and 3 TD's and in this 4 game stretch he hasn't broken 200 yards passing in any of those games.

Hilinski's first 2 games as a starter he threw for 606 yards and 4 TD'S. In his last 4 games he has thrown for 592 yards and 3 TD's and in this 4 game stretch he hasn't broken 200 yards passing in any of those games.

For some reason our fanbase are terrified of every opposing QB. I had just assumed the true frosh QB at MS ST was a stud just off listening to VN posters. Lulz

well, like i said, i wouldn't rule out 100%. still think it's slim. we actually dismissed him from the team. all they did to JM is red shirt him. there was an expectation he would be back, and his video didn't get released until much, much later.

I don't think he's that great a QB, but he's also been limited, he missed the 2nd half of Georgia completely. We'll see how he plays tomorrow, hopefully the pressure gets to him and the secondary vultures like they did against MSU.

Don't forget to pray for heavy rain. I like our running game and Cimaglia to take over in a hard fought, low scoring battle if it rains hard. It's in the forecast, just not sure exact timing of the heavy rain.

Well, that and OU media was never camped out daring them to try something beneficial for the fb team.

Can't wait for the day we find out we lost a close recruiting battle because the recruit did something iffy in HS. Opposing coach on record "Go to TN and they're media will make sure you never see the field again".

Butch has made it clear that he'll sue if UT doesn't pay him out. UT doesn't want the Title IX stuff dredged up, so he has the leverage. We want to move forward and leave that chapter behind. So we'll pay him out, and afterward, hopefully he'll cut all ties to Knoxville and leave the SEC.

We paid Pearl without having to. We paid Butch & Curry when both should have been just happy to get out of the state alive. The money we spend to avoid "negative publicity" makes me want to puke. UT's legal arm needs a couple of mean SOB's that don't mind getting down in the legal gutter to win these battles. The Clinton's use the politics of personal destruction quite effectively. No reason the legal eagles on the Hill couldn't have found ways to crucify Jones & Curry to flip the leverage position. Time to quit playing nice with folks who try to damage the University. Until we make an example out of one of them, people like Jones will continue to think they can act with impunity.

yeah. and it doesn't mean that OU media was right in NOT reporting probably like they should have, knowing what we know now. agendas can work both ways, and neither are necessarily "good".

I'm not one that sits and complains about the pay sites.
But it legit scares me to think of our fan's emotions being tied to their accuracy.

Harrison Bailey mentioned it, probably because the players are telling him that they know they can win out. It’s coming...that’s what they have been tweeting about the last couple weeks. They know they are close to going on a roll. It starts tomorrow when we wax the chickens, and start our 6 game winning streak to end the season. Let’s go!

Unfortunately the whole team didn't know they'd find themselves at this point with Shcrute Farms starting, Rogue Two off the rails, and A New Hope off in Vanderbilt.

well also in that regard, Mixon cold stone knocked a girl out on video. Banks just got in a verbal argument with a girl who stuck her phone in his face.

I think things changed a few days ago. Everything indicated that Pruitt was going to roll with JG if Maurer didn't clear, but JG was so inconsistent in practice. Mentally, he's all over the place and that makes him unreliable. His confidence is shot. Everybody expects this to be a tight game, so I think the coaches started considering a different plan. Chaney's been working a lot more with Shrout, so you could see the shift in thinking mid-week.
