They have made drive-thru into an art form. I still can't make myself get in that line, tho.Maybe so at any other fast food place.. The CFA by my house makes money hand over fist, every hour they're open. I bet they'd be able to pay $15-20/hr and not even blink (of course $27 is probably too much).
The OL has done a good job of that for the most part all year. Our QB play is no longer tied to a poor protection issue or lack of a running game.We can but we have to protect who ever is the qb.
So refreshing to be able to say that and I think it’s true as well. Wright and Morris will make a mistake occasionally, but this is the best our OL has played in awhile. The OL has done a good job of that for the most part all year. Our QB play is no longer tied to a poor protection issue or lack of a running game.
That was a major issue last year and why many including the staff thought the QB play from a 4th year guy should be better.
Maybe the university should threaten to dredge up his handling of Drae Bowles, and basically telling the team to take care of the situation? Or maybe dredge up his treatment of the players? Or maybe dredge up that it was a crime how he tanked the last season on purpose so he could get his buyout? I’m sure there are plenty of witnesses about some of the things he did that wouldn’t be viewed as acceptable to the public eye. I’m sorry, but this is our university’s problem...we need to grow a set and quit being bullied about what might happen if we confront situations that might be uncomfortable. Just like the terrible officiating...grow a set and speak out on it.
They have done a much better job protecting this year.I just worry a little bit because of the extra time it takes to get off the deep ball.I like our chances on 50/50 balls with JJ and Calloway. The OL has done a good job of that for the most part all year. Our QB play is no longer tied to a poor protection issue or lack of a running game.

I watched it. It was a great comeback. Our QB is pretty freaking good. Powell really should have beaten them soundly. The QB was dropping dimes and the receivers couldn't catch the flu in China.@InVOLuntary your Powell Panthers had a nice rally last night against Oak Ridge to stay undefeated. I hope you all win the state. Pretty fun team to watch.
Austin Pope is probably a guy that can be a difference maker this week with what we're expecting from this game, and how the run game will be emphasized.Win the field position battle. No TOs. Run effectively against the SCAR D. Stop Feaster and force Hilinski to throw. Get SCAR to give up the big plays, which they're prone to do.
Muschamp said Hilinski had a great week of practice while JG's was unspeakably bad. We need Chaney to make Shrout the new Maurer. (Or get the old Maurer back.)
I've experienced suicide in my family as well. Like I said previously, it is 100% a serious matter and shouldn't be taken lightly. It is beyond tragic what it does to the loved ones left behind. But it becomes tiresome to hear about it week after week during a football game. Hearing about it over and over desensitizes it, and quite honestly, it's like it has become a promotional tool, which cheapens the brother's memory. His death shouldn't be a promotional tool to make people like or cheer for Hilinski. But they talk about it EVERY game. He's a complete piece of sh!t that embodies the horribly negative, vapid place VN & sports fandom can be. From wishing opponents tear their ACLS to being upset media he chooses to watch talks about the loss of a brother - all because they dont wear orange. My friend killed themselves earlier this year and the pain it caused their family, their loved ones is unimaginable. Thank god he & others on this board dont completely encapsulate the spirit of Vol fans. We will be at the game and hold up 3 fingers to show respect to his Helinksi's brother because we arent inbred ****ing trash like this guy.
Seriously, log off here for a few weeks and it does your mind good not having to read trash like this guy and countless others here who revel in negativity over a football team.
Pretty low-life thing to do. It's not like he has not already milked us dry.Butch has made it clear that he'll sue if UT doesn't pay him out. UT doesn't want the Title IX stuff dredged up, so he has the leverage. We want to move forward and leave that chapter behind. So we'll pay him out, and afterward, hopefully he'll cut all ties to Knoxville and leave the SEC.
I hope we don't find out on Saturday by not punting at all (and to any football gods that might be listening, I am not saying that I want us to turn it over seven times).3 really solid games, then all over the place.
Ga State - 47
BYU - 45.7
UTC - 57
FL - 39.4
GA - 33.4
MS - 46.3
BAMA -38
Should be due a good performance.
That or we just score every posession and take them out of the equation.![]()

likewise, i think having bituli and ht out there together again on D will help. it's been two weeks since they were both on the field together.......

the only thing i'll say about this is that Bama was relatively limited w/out Tua...they're just not the juggernot they usually are w/out him at the helm. so whilie i do agree, i think they both played well.....there was some stress releif on teh LB's because of how Bama's offense operated in that game vs. the stress tua can put on a defense.I may just be overly optimistic here, but having to see JJP & Crouch play as much as they did against Bama eased my worry a bit at ILB. Obviously there's a step down from Bituli/Henry T to the 2nd man up, but they were solid and held their own against a very talented Bama team.
The potential for Banks to earn back on the team and the incoming Memphis LBs has me excited for that group next year.
