Sorry sorry, off topic thread is dead af. What's a good place to get breakfast that is walking distance from g10?

depends on your walking radius, but nothing is super close. I generally drop the car off in G10 early and Lyft to Matt Robb’s or Pete’s then come back later. Only thing real close is an Einstein’s bagels on campus, but I’m not sure if it’s even open on Saturdays.

I suspect they will go in game with a plan to start Shrout for two series to see how he does. If he struggles then expect JG to come in. At that point crowd is more open to JG if Shrout is clearly not ready. They won’t give Shrout a big leash due to importance of game.

I also think we will see a bigger wildcat package for Jennings and Jordan. Honestly I’d prefer Gray or Alontae running wildcat over Jordan.

Heavy ground game emphasis probably. Maybe some of the jet sweep and crossing drag routes that worked so well last yr in this game.

I heard some former Vol say something like this. They are talking players literally ganging up and doing what? Punching 1 player? Kicking him? Bloodying him up? Hard to believe, but if they say so. Seems like a really dumb way to alienate and have a player act out of fear, which is not a good motivator. Otherwise your boss whippin your ass would make you a better employee.
Yeah...except for going on results instead of sissy-baby-puss opinion...it worked...really well.

ROFL, I have to admit that's pretty funny. I just don't like everyone running down JG and calling him all kinds of names. If I played QB for the Vols, we would be 6-1, for the record. I would have thrown the Georgia State game just to throw people off.
He sucks as a football player...any names I have called him pertains to that and that only...and he has earned every bitter diatribe I have thrown at his pathetic arse. 😡

Just 13 days from BasketVOLs tip-off too...

We've got some forward momentum in recruiting and the on the field product, hopefully we just show out at home against USC in a packed house. I truly believe despite his negatives JG starting isn't an automatic loss. He plays like he did against MSU and we'll be fine. Surely the staff has simplified the playbook to prevent anymore rogue audibles/play-calling
He didn't audible...he just kept the ball and ran his own play..that is the problem. He does what he wants.

Can someone give me the cliffs on the Bammer ref?

Ryan Hagan. Grew up in Birmingham. Graduated from Samford And has no immediate family members at Bama so he can officiate Bama games. Family is bama fans. Sister works in SEC front office for officiating and administration. Brother (or brother in-law) is a huge Bama fan and there is photos all over social media of him in pictures with his brother wearing Bama gear. In one photo his brother is congratulating him on a “great called game” referring to our game.

But Sanky says there is nothing to see here. They are above reproach and we are bad fans for criticizing officials because nobody is perfect.

JG has been dog Sh*t from what I’ve been reading from Fingers post.along with watching some practice film dude is in his own head.id be ok with shrout I trust him more than I do JG.

Now there's some breaking news for us. I mean, we would never have guessed it.

You know who doesn't have immediate family members? Robots. First person to come up with automated AI refereeing will be so dang rich.
MLB is doing it with the plate umpire now. This was the first year is was being used behind the plate for balls and strikes. It was tested in the minor league and guys still argued balls and strikes :):):).

We lose without BM.

They will score more than 10.

We won’t.
Nope, our coaches will make sure we win this weekend regardless of who's playing QB. Staff is in the zone and players mindsets are all in. We might just rush 40 times for 300 yards if we have to. Defense is going to get turnovers and dominate. Kicking game will be elite like always.

It's happening.

Spread them out with 4 WR. That will make it a little bit easier to run the ball. I just hate it when we stack everybody in bunch formation and try to run the ball. It is almost never successful.
Mush will keep 6-7 in, jam the WRs and shut that isht down. JG sucks and can't even make short throws.
