I don’t claim to know what happened during the off-season between 2015 and 2016, but Bama said the 2015 team was the most physical one they played all year, and then the 2016 team came out and got manhandled at the line of scrimmage by Appy State.

I actually had this very thought this afternoon after seeing the fumbled sneak. I was almost as if he just pushed the ball forward and released it with both hands into the end zone.

And I get that but he did make a few plays and would have made a few more without a few key drops by JJ.

He has zero confidence right now and even at his best is just a solid game manager. With his confidence so low we all know he isn’t that right now.


I keep seeing posters saying he was just selfishly trying to be a hero. That’s really a dumb take as this kid Clearly isn’t doing that as he is very hesitate with the ball. He’s just scared to make mistakes and it’s clear a reason he’s so slow to make decisions

I think it’s relevant when discussing the effectiveness of a running game.


I’ve been mad chandler hasn’t been
Getting more carries but I think the breakdown of this may show why he hasn’t been getting carries. Later I may break that down to see if it shows us that

I heard they were all doing Fred Hahn’s “Slow Burn” program on MWF and Jazzercise on Tues & Thurs. this is coming from a VERY reliable source

Yeah, and Maurer wasnt ready either until he essentially took the starting job after 2 series.

JG made one 2 nites ago that sealed a win for the other team.

Jordan is running the football well and should get attempts. I thought State was a pretty good balance for a team that doesnt need its QB flinging it all over the field.

To the question tho. Why are we devaluing a big run?
