Not sure I agree. Even before he left the game, I think we were doing a good job of disrupting Tua's rhythm. I'd say Bama still wins, but I doubt the score is much different.

UT's in an awkward position if Maurer can't play next week. Because the fans will boo like crazy if Pruitt and Chaney play JG, and the team 100% needs fan support. That should be our advantage, and we should all be coming together, because the chance for a bowl is very real. But JG is more divisive than ever.

Only way to salvage that if Pruitt really accepts the blame and totally recuses JG from any blame. Very difficult to do but I think the bigger problem will be how the team reacts. They literally may refuse to have his back. I'm more concerned with the team reaction than the fan reaction. If Pruitt remains status quo I find it hard to believe that JG plays next week.

But, it’s certainly a different from the time when I played.

His call represents the wussies in the country. Welcome to the United States of the Offended where everyone is a victim including the dumbest player ever.

Tank was knocking the piss out of people. Really a lot of our guys had that mentality last night. We were probably going to lose but they were going to feel like they were in a fight the next day and I bet bama does. Several dudes laying shots

That's exactly what Pruitt and the players are doing. Pruitt said it's the coaches' fault. But the playcaller in the huddle is the QB. He changed the play. So players like Kennedy and Smith were put in the position of having to smooth things over by saying there was a misunderstanding and they weren't sure what happened. Former players are being more candid. Chaney already didn't trust JG and the players have better chemistry with Maurer. IDK how they rebuild trust by Saturday. But they need to find a way. Even if Maurer can start, we have to prepare for him to come out. I get why the coaches feel they have to keep JG somewhat invested... but I don't get the treatment of Shrout. At all.
