Honestly don’t get how so many are positive JT “ain’t ready” after 3 snaps...lol

Y’all watch the game, right? Even before the fumble JG was playing pretty bad. The youth movement is bought in and I saw the team hyping up JT before his first snap.

Give him all the 1st team reps and he’ll be ready.

I agree. I sure hope they don’t trot out JG next week. The whole stadium will be deflated. At least with JT the crowd will pull him along, and he should get better as the game goes on.

The guy is 270 lbs, he’s had more than a year to put on weight, and he doesn’t understand why he’s not getting to play against a DL of monsters like Bama has?

But he couldn’t find a place to work out before getting Here and everyone sided with him when it was clear he didn’t have the drive to get his damn workouts done

He was pissing down his leg. If 2 doesn't do the unthinkable on the goal line we have a ball game late in the fourth in Tuscaloosa.

Good point. Putting the ball in his hand with only a one possession lead in the 4th Q and I’d bet good money he either makes a mistake or Bama just runs the ball 3 times and punts so that he doesn’t make a mistake.

Has it been confirmed that Maurer even had a concussion last week? It looks like he was just in protocol. Same for this week. Are we even sure he had concussions? He could have just been in protocol both games and be fine.
you go in the protocol for head/neck inuries. I am pretty sure it was a neck strain last week

So before last night I assumed Wright was playing solid football

Has he been playing well or did last night just expose his poor play long term?

Agreed and I don’t know if he had that power to make that call but I know many QBs do have that power. The issue to me was 74 was late as hell getting lined up and the hurry up sneak that many offenses allow their qb to do was missed and should have been aborted
He doesn't have that power and it was one of the reasons that Pruitt yanked his ass earlier in the season. This wasn't the first time JG pulled this **** and Chaney even mentioned it to Griese I beleive.

Was 74 on the field the play before or did he run in from the sidelines?

I think Wright just experienced something he'snever experienced before. He's still got a lot to learn. In a year or two I think he will be dominant.

Was in the fire Pruitt camp early in the year because I felt he wasn’t the same coach we hired. The fire looked gone.

The last two weeks, he has been different. He has looked like a football coach fighting for his team and not accepting boneheaded miscues. Still think we are two years from a real chance to win against Bama.

If he continues, we have a long term coach. He needs to keep that intensity to get us back to top 10 status. Future on D is very bright.

Was right there with you. I still am. 100% agree.

Add in that O-line. They physically whip people including the d-line of Bama. Bama out quicked them, usually Wright, and used some blitzes that confused the young guys - but our guys were blowing Bama back 3 yards off the LOS when they got a hat on them. Give us Bailey/Maurer behind center next season and there will be a 180 degree turnaround. It's a shame Callaway and JJ will not have the opportunity to play next season, because the climb back up will be underway big time then.

Hey y'all. No idea why that tweet has people so mad or feeling like I'm "trolling" fans. There were about a million things that didn't go Tennessee's way. It's what I thought a very clear reference on the game. It's not a comment on any fans in any way and I'm legitimately floored anyone took it that way. I wrote about a handful of the most impactful missed calls after the game.

Anyway, hope y'all are well. Enjoy the rest of the season and thanks for reading and subscribing.
You’re trash.

The boos that would rain down on the field if JG got the start would be deafening. No way that happens.

I liked the reply to Swain’s tweet from Jalin Hyatt’s dad.

I ask again, why are you such a bitch ass hoe?

I'm not convinced that last night was a concussion. I think he hurt his already sore neck.

I'm betting that he would have finished the game last night if he hadn't hurt his neck the week before.

I don’t think he was hurt last night. I think he played a little drama queen by taking his own helmet off and the training staff had no choice but to yank him.

JMO but I think that’s why Pruitt was frustrated

He had a bad night against some seriously good players. He will improve, but that one whiff was atrocious
And I actually felt sorry for JG after that sack. Then he went and pulled that boneheaded move on the goal line.
