Today was pretty fun, I enjoyed listening to all of the Bama fans around be start to get a little anxious at the game. Keep taking steps forward and we’ll be celebrating some big wins soon(ish).

He didn't look ready but that's not a bad thing on his part. I didn't expect him to. I highly doubt he expected to see the field tonight and he was probably shocked it happened the way it did. What I'm saying is that I would take an unprepared Shrout over a prepared and experienced JG. Shrout isn't ready (he's further behind than Maurer) but he's a better option than JG given the circumstances.
Yeah jt almost had that bomb if palmer would have made more of a play for it.

If he’s at risk, he won’t play. If he’s not, he will play. He did not have a concussion last week by was in concussion protocol due to a neck injury. I’ll let the doctors decide instead of you.
Thanks for this, as I assume you had inside info, and this explanation makes way more sense. Watching the MS game, concussion just didn't make sense, as there was relatively gentle head impact, but then he hyperextended his neck with all his weight adding to the force of the fall going straight down the axis of the spinal cord with his cervical spine in a position where it couldn't carry a load. He then grabbed his upper neck. That's a good mechanism for either a teardrop or C1 burst fracture. I was initially quite relieved to see him moving all 4 limbs. After he was taken out but kept nonchalantly on the sideline, neck sprain, disc herniation or pinched nerve seemed most likely given the mechanics and overall lack of concern for more serious injury by medical staff. Then tonight, he falls backwards into the back of the OL thigh/knee. Again, soft head impact into a pretty soft area of the OLs body, but got hyperflexed. Hopefully just exacerbated a sprain and was held out as a precaution, and will need an MRI to confirm no ligamentous damage, worsened disc herniation or instability before being cleared.

Anybody ever see anything like those bammer officials stopping play on that trick play that would have been our second TD?

Not the same but it reminds me of Fifth Down Game (1990) - Wikipedia where Colorado was given an extra down against Mizzou for no known reason. Those types of screwups are so egregious it's hard to believe they're 100 percent innocent mistakes.

Best I've felt after a game under Pruitt. We coming.

Also, @David Ubben Can you please stop being such a little bitch? In fact, since you are clearly so salty at the program for whatever reason, why don't you just find another beat? Since you clearly don't want to be here and no one likes you at this point, it's probably for the best anyway.

I honestly don't understand what is up with @David Ubben He went from being a decent read to being an insufferable prick for no reason whatsoever. I don't mind a writer being pessimistic about a team but he trolls the fanbase with nonsense.

Took the words right out of my mouth.

@David Ubben Come on in here and defend yourself. What is your problem? Why do you keep deliberately trolling this fan base?

Ignore Wolken's text and watch JG's body language. The more I watch this, the more JG looks like he's satisfied with himself. He's casually strutting back to the sideline like he did exactly what he wanted to do and is completely ignoring Pruitt. I don't see how he can look that casual like nothing bad at all happened after that.

It's just a football game, but he's definitely a coach killer. Glad the fans see clearly now, and got behind our coach. I think he may be the one to turn this thing around.

Maurer had more passing yards than JG and didn’t even make it through the first quarter. It’s literally hard to fathom how terrible JG is.
Maurer can throw some darts.. He is so quick. He just keeps getting hurt. I doubt he is a go for SC. Two concussions in two weeks is not good.

I like a whole lot of what I saw, but:

-Jennings needs to clean up some of these mistakes he's been making.

-Stop letting Chandler return kickoffs.

-Palmer has got to get more aggressive going after the ball.

Two weeks in a row on his soft ass play and people wanted to blame Maurer last week for his second INT.
