I agree that it was the turning point, but I absolutely disagree that Taylor was being selfish. He thought for a millisecond about doing something stupid, and he stopped himself. Still got flagged. He did not push that qb down even a little bit.

I can agree with this. I think he was thinking about doing more and caught himself. By that time it was too late as momentum had taken over. I wish they hadn’t called it but they were within the rules of the game. Plus there is preferential treatment for QB’s like they are an endangered species.

If you got that done to you as much as you say you sucked as a football player and deserved it.

lol I never said it happened a lot but it did happen a few times over the years. And I wouldn’t say I sucked... but I will say there was never much question that football wasn’t ever gonna be a career choice.

Jennings scored on that wildcat. They didn't even bother calling it a score before wiping it off the board. Amazing.

Not to mention, Jordan's "hold" on that play was borderline. I think it may have looked somewhat like a hold, but I don't think holding actually took place there.

Note to self, when sacking an Alabama QB instead of laying on the QB until the play is over, rub my junk all over him like Leonard Little and strut back to the sideline.

I don’t care if Jennings has to play QB or if we run every damn play. I never want to see JG take another snap for us again. That loser brings everyone down and he has single handily cost us games. I can live with only winning one more game and these boys fighting hard. I can’t watching a loser who continues to find crazy ways to lose Try to lead our team. I bet the team feels the same way.

There are some officiating calls I can objectively agree with. Bituli targeted. Forced a fumble but that was irrelevant as the targeting caused it.

The hit on Maurer was within the steps allowed for a hit. Cheap shot, no penalty, imo

The JJ wildcats hold on Morris was awful. The stop of the clock was unbelievable.

Darrell Taylor call was borderline. That was very weak. Tiny little push and I think drama from the QB. I can see the call, but that’s a very weak call to make

Few things....

1. Gotta get other wr's involved besides JJ.
2. My biggest issue with the refs was when they inexplicably stopped the clock when we first lined JJ up in the wildcat.
3. Our DL is getting better
4. #5 needs to be more involved in the passing game.
5. Tim Jordan should get vote for most improved player
6. The call on DT is at least debatable so I would lean toward just leaving your hands off when in doubt.
7. Effort is not an issue
8. I've no issue with cjp's reaction to the fumble.
9. JG...SMH.
10. Maurer's health is the single most important factor in how this season ends for us.

Shrout looked bad/unready in relief but I don't ever want to see JG under center again. At least, not any time soon. What he did was incredibly selfish and hurt his entire team. At worst, we run it, get stopped, and give our defense a chance to stop them and/or catch a pick/fumble.
JT had a near TD where a DB made a crazy play, then Wright got schooled on the sack.

What did JT do wrong? Not like he tried to QB sneak on a called sweep and fumbled the ball away for a scoop & score...
