He had a different perspective of the Bryant Denny screw job tonight.

Coaches pulling the facemask means different things to those watching and those in the helmet. Watching is looks like total disrespect but when you are in the helmet you know it was to get your attention because you done ****ed up.

I don’t like seeing a coach do that but honestly, when I do see it, in my mind it’s more like remembering how much I hated having that done to me. Which I guess was part of the point.

I remember my coach taking me several yards and putting me in the position I was supposed to have been in on the play, all just by the facemask. lol.

Like I said, I don’t like it, I think there’s better ways to handle it, and in its worst use it can injure a kid’s neck. But you’re right that it’s a much worse visual than what the player is experiencing, if only because it’s not really out of the ordinary for most of those players.

Game turned for the worst when Darrell Taylor made an absolutely selfish play. Can’t say it was unexpected as that has been par for the course his career here. Except for a handful of players I am so ready to remove the Butch Jones stink from this team. It’s amazing after 4 years that JG could be this bad.

Thing about it is if Maurer doesn't play next week I don't think we can win. No way they trot 2 out there and 12 has appeared to be doo doo as well in any action he's had. Devastating loss right there.

Gameplan will be to have a 100 rush plays and 4 pass plays.

Shrout looked bad/unready in relief but I don't ever want to see JG under center again. At least, not any time soon. What he did was incredibly selfish and hurt his entire team. At worst, we run it, get stopped, and give our defense a chance to stop them and/or catch a pick/fumble.

This has to be a joke. He way he’s the outcome of the play then got up the same way you and o get up off the off the couch. 0/100 chance they call that on Bama. Announcer said it was a bad call, and that means it was horrific

I agree that it was the turning point, but I absolutely disagree that Taylor was being selfish. He thought for a millisecond about doing something stupid, and he stopped himself. Still got flagged. He did not push that qb down even a little bit.
