Only complication would be if one of them snaps up Mike Norvell and that’s only a complication if he has a relationship with all 3.
If Norvell wants to win a championship he'd be wise to turn those jobs down if he has the opportunity. A lot of folks aren't aware that Pruitt did this very thing. He could have had the Vanderbilt job and the Mississippi State job but turned both down.

You take the next step up if it’s available if you want to be in competition for top line jobs.

To each his own. Pruitt and Smart both turned lower level jobs like those down and ended up getting jobs that legitimately give you a chance to win something of significance if you're any good. MSU hasn't won a conference championship since 41. Arkansas never has. I'd doubt either will win one in my lifetime.

They were coordinators tho. Seems they wanted to skip the mid-major stepping stone gigs. Norvell already has one and it hasn’t translated to a better one yet.

Will hold off and revisit with GeauxVols until after the Mizzou game. Said weeks ago it isn’t “unwinnable”.

The Miss st cowbells could not be more annoying to listen to while trying to watch a football game on tv. Surely that’s not louder than actually cheering and screaming to create noise.

The rooster crow they play at Williams-Brice after a USCjr score and the Vandy band's ship horn are a close 2nd and 3rd.

Thank God for Rocky Top.

Idk about that. Very fertile recruiting ground. Spurrier got them to spend money and they got really good really fast. Just be thankful Muschamp is there and not Tom Herman.
Oh, I am. Spurrier was a generational type coach though. It's not a bad job, but comparatively speaking I wouldn't call it a good job in this league.

It is just a matter of days before Jaden Springer reveals which school that he will be attending next year. There was a belief that he was going to make his college decision on Friday, but I wouldn’t think that there is much more time before he commits to Tennessee. The Vols have done an awesome job of recruiting him in recent years and while Memphis and Michigan made him think twice, I will say that Springer is off of the board before Wednesday with Rick Barnes celebrating another monumental win along the recruiting trail.

Yea he is and that’s a big part of the reason they had success but he also made them step up their facilities and money where they can sustain it. But just like other programs even elites, have to have a great coach to do that. They don’t have one. Don’t understand why you would immediately hire a proven a failure from inside the division.
