Accountability is getting less or no work. FACT is the very best, in the NFL, miss all the time. Trying to referree elite athletes by human eyes is a foolish notion. There will always be mistakes, many. It doesn't matter how much you punish. It's like punishing humans for not being able to run a 3 minute mile.
Until sensors/AI takes over refereeing, it will always always always be the same. Humans have hit their peak and this is it.
The NFL...NFL! sucks lol. There's no "good" referreeing. It is just humans.I know it’s not an easy job, but the SEC has been awful for years. There is no doubt that the conference likes to semi protect its good teams late in the year. That was quite apparent in the 2004 SECCG.
It can always be better, and it needs to be better. To have the head of officials as a Bama grad is just their arrogance. The perception alone is astounding.
