Pass protection against miss state I would call respectable. They expect us to run. If I’m the fat man the 1st offensive play I’m calling is a pass, the last I’m calling is a pass, and 75% of the plays in between...

We all know that baring a miracle we are going to get throttled by Alabama, but if we can beat USCjr we will be back in the drivers seat to get to a bowl game so I think it’s critical what happens to Maurer from here on out.

I don't think it's critical at all. Maurer needs 20-30 lbs of muscle to even have a chance at finishing a season healthy. He's only played really 1 decent quarter of football, he's making a bunch of mistakes and we have HB coming in who is closer to being ready to play physically right now. BM wasn't recruited by any of the big 3 Florida schools and most of his other offers, including our, were made based off what he might be 3-4 years down the road. It's not a particularly popular opinion but my guess is that JG plays a bunch the rest of the year and HB is our likely starter next season. BM will transfer out of here before his Jr season if Bailey comes in and starts. His development at Tennessee may not matter at all.

Most sensible fans realize that is not all on the QB either. Drops by your top WR in the endzone played as big a role in not putting up points as did QB play.

Oh , it was zero.

JG had a TD dropped in the endzone. Neither scored any points.

I dont wanna hear any of this "lead" bullshite. When JG drove us down and they handed it to the rb and we scored he didn't get credit. Let's not change our criteria for evaluation of qbs now.

I guess we need to give JG credit for the drives we got stopped on 4th in the red zone but could have kicked fgs. I'm mean he "drove" us. We didn't score a TD but no big deal
