I’ll be happy for him if these last 6 games end like we expect. It will be in his best interest to leave. I’ll be sad he didn’t live up to his potenial and i will really be sad at how he’s been treated by the fans

This past week @BassmasterVol could barely contain himself spreading Bs rumors that Shrout was the backup before the game and and of course the reaction was JG was done

And least we know the angle people will be coming at him this week with now

In defense of Shrout I can say the kid has a strong arm and go spiral. He just overthrows his receiver which can be corrected. The QB's should be pushing each other hard. A lot of people didn't think Maurer was the answer either but the kid has changed the whole outlook for my Vols in my opinion. He is performing his part of the culture change. If JG starts I hope the kid throws 8 tds and throws for over 300 yds. I hope the best for him and the team just as I do for Maurer. I don't even care if JG throws 5 interceptions as long as he is pushing to do his best.
As for the Bass. I have read his messages for a long time. He brings a lot of good stuff to the board. He may see things one way and you another as we all do. I like the info he brings to the board.

I would prefer if none threw interceptions, though.

I’ll be the first to admit I didn’t think 18 was the answer. To this point it appears I was dead wrong and no doubt he’s rejuvenated this team and fanbase. Now if he can stay healthy and see those bad plays diminish is yet to be seen

If it is JG I hope he and the whole team have the mentality they are going to take it to Bama from the first kick and they are going to show the Bama fans what will be in their future when they line up against Tennessee. Morris, Trey, Kennedy, and Wright has Tennessee Pride to show out Saturday night. Its their chance. Its the whole teams.
I hope JG just lets it fly if he starts and they all rep the orange and white well

Lol ok JG..you have more sympathy for yourself than i do...if “being through a lot” is referring to “Football like hits” then maybe you wasn’t cut out for D1 football 👀🤷🏽‍♂️ It’s part of the game..QB take hits and coaching changes all the time.JG isn’t the first to go through it and definitely won’t be the last,believe me. Adversity and situations in everyday life define who you are by how you react to certain situations and go about over coming them.If JG wasn’t capable from what he’s experienced (not including) what was “outside of his control” then who’s fault is it?..what is his fault though,is looking like a Sh**ty Teammate..Acting like a selfish veteran QB who feels like he won his job back because of 1 easy 5 yard pass that ended up being a game wining touchdown and wanted it to be all about him in that moment.just my opinion though🤷🏽‍♂️😁 I’ll leave it at that.
