That may be the rule but that's stupid. Like I said there are hits on the QB or other players that are excessive and should be considered targeting and dealt with appropriately. But that hit by Henry wasn't excessive or meant to cause injury. It was a perfect heads up form tackle. He would have had to actually lower his hard and move it to the side of the player which is more dangerous to him. My have been by the letter of the rule but I think it was stupid.

Facemask into the chest is form Tackle to me.

I’m just tickled to death it didn’t cost us the game. I thought it might when it happened

It was a good day. I have bragging rights with everyone until we all leave on Tuesday. Fun day with family and friends.

Being that we won and USCjr knocked off Jawga I bet we void the noon slot in 2 weeks. Let’s hope we get to fire up the lights. Maybe the night slot for SEC Network?

I just saw Bama defender hit the quarterback in the helmet with his arm… By definition, that is supposed to be a personal foul. Do you think it was called?

Make sure to get that thing clean by next Saturday night. He needs to wear that every game day until we lose with him wearing it.
