Traded your grill fo bennies.

@pismonque Sorry, dude. Don't follow baseball but gathered from this that your guys had a Blood Meridian kind of day.

lol nah the Braves fans had the Blood Meridian day, it was that brutal. For the Dodgers it was just an early demise... name your CM title for that, just about any will do.

So... Dodgers out, Dolphins tanking, Vols on a thin thread for a bowl, out of my NFL suicide pool in week 4, 0-5 in fantasy football... how long till Vols bb?

Elijah Young is committed to Mizzou, but a good portion of our targets are committed elsewhere still. He's a Knoxville kid and would be a great get. I feel like the staff has given him his space and not pressured him, but he might end up staying home when all is said and done.
I’ve always felt like we should take any local kids with legitimate SEC offers.
1) it means something to them - something we’ve had a problem with the last 10 years.
2) borderline players are borderline no matter what state they come from. In any class you’re going to have 5 or so of these guys. Make them local kids. Build the relationships.

That particular one is 3 years old. Cole Haan is pretty high dollar brand so I really like the price, but wanted to make sure it wasn’t a jacket for a 70 year old man in his corvette
Don’t go with trends. I don’t see many wearing leather jackets. If they are in, they won’t be in a year.

That’s just me.

I can’t recall the last Knoxville kid we didn’t take who went elsewhere and had success. Literally cannot recall. I know a kid from Maryville went to Clemson but I’m not sure he did anything

Tee Martin's kid is doing OK at Clemson right?

Or did you mean a kid we chose not to take?

Idk why we wouldn’t take him. He won the state title in 100m dash. At the very least he’s gonna give you speed as a gunner or a return man.

Yes i do. The question is will we stick with it even when it’s stalling.
I'm imagining that Maurer will have to hurt them because they will stack up to stop the run, with the idea that if we can't eat clock, our lack of depth will eventually show on D. I think they sell out to make it "stall." If Maurer can do it, we run wild.

I am glad the Dodgers lost. I do like Dave Roberts, though.

Respectfully f*** you🖕🏽😂 And Dave is another don mattingly. Dave making the dumb management moves he’s made,he won’t last long.that was Don’s downfall also.i wanted dusty baker or joe maddon as a manger.

If you grade two kids out evenly, take the local kid. Otherwise, go to California or Maine for all I care.

If I see something I like, I'll wear it. I look at clothing more practically. If it feels good, and fits me and works for what I need it for, I'll wear it. I'm not trying to impress anyone with style. I like leather jackets. I don't own one currently but I've always found them warm and cozy. May try and find me another one.

Get off my dam lawn, you young punks.

seemed fair to me? should be good in the back court...have questions in the front court. been that way since the end of last season knowing who we'd be losing.

need Uros waived, and that helps, but we're gonna likley struggle inside, especially defensively when we run up against teams with big bodies that can get to the rim.

the guards will have a lot on their shoulders offensively.......good news is all three of them are good shooters....and bowden and turner can play perimeter defense...

i thought it was about right to be honest....no issues with their take from me.

It’s going to be interesting to see what Chaney does because he’s going to have to find some wrinkles but keep it somewhat simple for BM. I like that he’s shown that he’s not only willing to take shots but he’s hit them down the field so i don’t think state will be able to just stack the box. I think this is going to be a sloppy style game for both sides. We just have to stay patient and committed to the run even if we find ourselves down.

I buy that.

I’m talking about the ranking..we have unknowns but still..I think we will surprise a lot of people just because of the leadership we have still in place on the team.

i wonder how much BM figures in to the run game...if at all?

the only reason i'd disagree with you on the stack the box deal is that we haven't been consistent in the passing game, regardless of who's the QB. and the sample size for BM isn't big enough yet. that said, you've at least seen him do it, so i get what you're saying. i'd still imagine the initial tactic is to take the run away and see if the FR can make you give it back some.....

i do think we're going to have to be patient with the run game....but not stubborn.....i would imagine Chaney would like nothing more than to give them a reason to back off the line of scrimmage early in the game.....and hopefully settle in to the run game as the game goes along.

and pruitt probably wants to keep his defense on the sideline as long absolutely possible....so they're gonna have to manage that a bit i think.

the big unknown for me is how does the change in personnel for MSU affect this game? getting those kids back for this game could be a difference maker and i honestly have no idea what to think about it, except that it has to be a good thing for them?
