Crouch at ILB against a run first MSU team, I like the way this matchup is shaping up. Let's just hope the good guys are ready to tackle, can't have BS shoulder dives.

Id be willing to bet we use him at ILB on obvious passing downs, with the intent of him trying to bring pressure up the middle.

An encouraging sign for me from last week outside of the obvious was more times than I have seen before I saw several orange jerseys around ball carrier at end of plays instead of 1 maybe 2. Seemed like effort to the whistle was changing. Guys from other side chasing play from backside instead of oh well not on my side. Warrior actually playing through people and making plays he should be making instead of protecting himself. Still some things to clean up such as Theo needs to charge hard and knock the **** out of that WR on Bryce CB blitz then you force 4th down instead he danced and played it safe. I saw Pruitt get in to him immediately because the blitz forced Fromm to throw exactly where Pruitt wanted him to but this hesitation allowed a first. Little things can become big things. Most of our plays we give up are from our own mistakes.

The closer we get, the more this weekend feels like a must win

I don’t want to be in a must win situation vs South Carolina because Muschamp has some voodoo on us.

Brandon Johnson is apparently going to RS this season at WR. That's pretty huge, assuming Palmer comes back next year the WR room will still be stacked and have good experience as well as younger talent.

Getting 3 or 4 of these Memphis kids would be huge for this class. I like Hodge at lot, but think we need a 2nd RB this class for sure. I'm still unsure if we lose Ty or not he hasn't really had a breakout year to this point, but he's also not looked bad considering he's getting limited touches.

I hope we're in a position where he is getting 15 or more carries Saturday, because I feel like we need to run the ball effectively against MSU to be winning the game. Get the lead, run the ball, stop the run and don't turn it over. I'm sure those are weekly goals, but really need to control the ground game on both sides of the ball to get the W.

The lack of O playmakers in this class makes me concerned we’ll never be high-powered like we were with Bray et. al.
i think there's been so much talk about the instate guys being the core, and those pretty much all being defensive guys, not a lot has been said about the offensive side of the ball outside the OL, QB and RB we currently have.

Hyatt looks like he could certainly be a play maker down the line....and redshirting BJ was a move for the future....and they're not done at WR...not sure who else we're' going to realistically get at this point, but i'm sure they're not going to let up on Jarrett, even tho that feels a bit like a pipe dream...same with Gilbert. safe to way Washington is definitely not coming here.....

i'm sure we'll see some resetting of the board, maybe some other offers.....but i don't think it's as bad as it seems on the surface. we need more depth at WR, but short term we'll have 4-5 guys next year that can play. should see Sean Brown and Jackson Lowe (hopefully) come in to their own at TE......RB will be fine i think, and we're adding Hodge to that room.

WR and TE will be question marks next year, but the biggest thing about recruiting those positions for this classs is adding depth....and if we can get an immediate contributor like a gibert or jarrett....then even better.

DWA has more yards and TDs than Wolf though...

He dropped a few against Georgia. I mean against Florida & Georgia I get why he didn't get a ton of separation, but he should have had a field day with BYU/Georiga State...oh wait, our QB was trying to land bank shot throws off defender hands in double and triple coverage.

Hopefully Maurer keeps improving and DWA starts feasting on slower/smaller matchups as the softer matchups in the SEC begin.

I’ve not purchased winter clothing in 20 years. Can a man wear a stylish leather jacket these days or is it out of style?

Mostly out of style. If you care about current fashion. But not so much that you'd look ridiculous if you really prefer a leather jacket. Riding a motorcycle is of course the exception.
