I enjoy the information he shares but damn is he crazy too still think what banks was doing and had been doing “for months” is a University of Tennessee standard.he is acting like we lost a huge part of our team,when he was really only a project.

I thought of another 8:00 CST game- 2001 UT at Arkansas. It was made worse by a weather delay. But I was a student at UT then, so a late night was normal.

well, being better than us on offfense isn't exactly setting the bar all that high.

i've not seen anything from MSU's offense that "scares" me. at least i know we have a couple RB's that can move in space and WR's that can go win 1 on 1, physical battles. and maybe we have a QB now that can make just enough plays........................

MSU is better than they've let on, but losing their QB was a big blow.....this should be a competitive game, and i actually think we're going to try and be really aggressive early on defense....

i'd like to see what we could do if we could play with a lead????

You know, I think it could be argued that, other than the 12pm slot, 9pm EST is about as "hidden" as they can make that game. There will undoubtedly be at least one other marquee matchup on at that time, and possibly a league championship game 6 and/or 7. Saban has already let them know he's pissed with them getting so many 12pm EST (11am CST) games. The only better option for us would be if they didn't air it at all!

nothing serious. bituli's knee seems to be the nagging ailment that they're trying to protect. Maurer supposedly fine and only way he doesn't start is if he has a bad week in practice. Solomon has a shoulder and foot, but expected to be ok.....

so yeah, i think it's relatively light on injury news.....thankfully.

Hate penalties but the Morris play and Calbert a couple weeks ago were encouraging from an attitude standpoint. Gotten tired of seeing our big guys get steamrolled then stand around while QB and RB get demolished.

MSU has a couple of defensive starters that were suspended 8 games at the beginning of the year. Willie Gay and Lee Autry. The staff can pick which 8 games they are suspended, and there is speculation that they will play this week because UT is a team they can beat.

A MSU friend of mine said that Gay has literally only played a half of football. They played him against UK. He had a pick six his first play of the season and got an unsportsmanlike penalty. He got a second unsportsmanlike penalty at the end of the half and was ejected.

I'll tell you what pissed me off the most was after the one in the Florida game, the announcers were talking about how it was a little on the unnecessary and excessive side of things. But when Cade Mays came in and obliterated one of our guys standing near the pile last year, they all talked about how that was absolutely how an OL is supposed to finish and play through the echo of the whistle.

We will be near tied with miss st til the 3rd qr, then miss st starts running up the gut for big chunk plays as we tire on defense. They have a very good running game.

Has it been stated if half of the MSU squad will be playing against us since they got hit with improper benefits from the tutor?

Well after all the anxiety of putting BM in vs the #3 team for his first ever start and wondering what lingering effects it could have on his psyche, I'd say it worked out well. Much closer to Dobbs than Peterman vs UF.
