Thought several schools were recruiting him as a RB?

Take away our extremely lucky busted coverage on the Callaway deep ball...the game was not close man. We had a good quarter and a half, which was encouraging, but this was a blowout that just took a little longer to get started than we expected.

It was busted coverage. It was a great move by Calloway and great executin. GTFO with that weak sauce.

Yep, the difference between the Florida game and the Georgia game was basically like three plays we hit on offense.

Yep, on the big plays at least. The other difference was that BM could hit the receivers in stride or place the ball well on the short and medium distance plays.

I don’t know if the adrenaline wore off for BM, or maybe he started overthinking, but it didn’t last long enough. He’s a freshman so I get it.

I got faith. This OL has their best game last night against a legit DL. Man, when these guys are juniors our OL gonna be every bit as good as GA’s was last night. Now we have a QB.

A play that impressed me last night was the play where Morris was called for targeting but was overruled.

He came back and threw his body into the DLineman and decleated him. That may seem insignificant, but after years of having whiffing OLinemen whose only hustle was to get to the training table for meals, it was good to see some effort to actually make a block for a change.

Something impressive that may go unnoticed is the 4th down stop by our worn down defensive line in the 4th quarter. That’s having pride and grit even when you’re outmatched. Haven’t seen a whole lot of that.

I have been trying to better understand what he is doing with little to no success of late. His constant defense of JG is disgusting. Maybe trying to keep JG engaged since Shrout is on his way out apparently.

I think a lot of it is that we simply can't afford to lose JG this season and it would be great to keep him around for next season too. JG isn't a bad kid and last season he was a serviceable QB. He regressed this season but he's still very much needed on the team. We can't have just Maurer and Shrout.
