Never heard of this. Any source?

And what is fulfilling academic obligations? I think it is only to take 6 credit hours while playing. Beyond that, most grad transfers never finish a degree, extremely common.

Also curious when we even would have been notified of this, because by Spring we already were filled up and couldnt take a transfer anyway.

He should have won for Gladior as supporting actor years ago. That was a great performance as well.

I think this Georgia team coming in here tomorrow might very well be the best one I've seen in my lifetime. Just want to see Tennessee fight all day. That State game next week will be huge.

OH please. I will be there to witness the Maurerest of the Maurerest!
You couldn't stomach viewing the UF game fo free but you're paying to see this bloodbath?

Glad you're going regardless. Need fans there to point shiny lights to distract the barking humans

Penn State just picked up their 27th commit (13th ranked overall) and are still in on more. Bama numbers or they about to tell some to walk.

my hate for Georgia pales in comparison to my hate for florida.

Chris Childers was talking about shoop on the show. Said he wanted to quit football after his time at Tennessee. That it was awful. No discipline no respect etc.
The two primary reasons that 2017 went so wrong:
1. Shoop and CBJ hated each other after working together in 2016.
2. Scott as OC was doomed because of lack of experience and not having a QB. A good QB could have covered his inexperience, but he was doomed with JG and QD.
We have missed on QB recruiting for several years now. Maurer or Bailey better be a home run.

i tend to agree. i've not seen anything from Maurer, performance wise, that says we're going to see some giant upgrade. he's fearless, which is a good thing...up to a point. if BM can prevent being the turnover machine he could be, then fine.....but......i find it hard to believe that he's going to be "error free" in a game like this.......
i don't. especially at this part of the season..........

the only reason i'm not being critical of the thought of playing maurer is because JG hasn't exactly presented himself as all that much better of an option.

i don't think there's really any "good" choices right now. i think JG's head is scrambled, and finding confidence now, against UGA, is a daunting task, especially when you got yanked in the last game and you're seeing how the reps are being distributed since.....

at least maurer has the right mindset, and does have a certain energy to him.....so we'll see what happens....i don't think the outcome changes all that much either way...another reason i'm not overly critical, either way we decide to go with the QB.

it's the devil you know vs. the devil you don't imo....not a ton of good options.......
My fear isn't just errors. It is executing basic plays vs basic defenses. He couldn't do it well vs utc or in the o&w game, and especially not vs uf. One can only hope he's grown the past month and settles in.

Wish Jones would have bounced after that 16 season. He wanted out. The Scott hire was a complete joke.
