they are not mutually exclusive.
That’s true.

I don’t think they’ve thrown their hands up and prioritized development over results yet. I don’t think they’ve given the team over to the underclassmen yet either. That’s what I think of when I hear “play for next year.”

I think that only happens when you’re out of bowl contention.

Yea and also if people will stop saying that that mistrust is “usually” warranted that will help even more.
Man, I thought we were gonna leave this on common ground. Sorry if I ruffled your feathers, we’re just looking at different worlds I guess.

As an aside, cops learn about warrants and let people go all the time. They may be "obligated" to arrest on a warrant, but in practice you often see them give a warning and tell the person to take care of it right away. Not saying that should have happened here (or in any particular case), but it's not true that a cop has to make an arrest any time they learn that someone has a piddly traffic ticket warrant.

That happens all the time. These are small potatoes violations and a lot of police would rather you go pay whatever fine you have than deal with having to arrest you for it.

I am not about to get on common ground that suggest cops are usually at fault when it comes to mistrust. It’s just the opposite. Most cops are on the good side while sure there are a few damn bad apples.

It’s ridiculous narratives that say cops are “usually” bad that raises a generation that has the attitude toward cops like Banks.

Both sides are equally repulsive on this matter.

I think you will see more and more young uns in the coming weeks. By November this thing will be every underclassman with an ounce of potential on the field. 2020 Is the make or break year and Pruitt knows that.

For sure. I’m in disagreement that there’s a blank check written this year but do agree we’ll see more young players as the year goes along.

Good to know. I remember Swain getting up in arms about Butch letting a State Trooper go who used to escort coaches off the field. I may be confusing this story with Sam. Thanks for following up.

Yea, Sam was never a trooper. He was with the city if I'm not mistaken.
