The KNS is absolute garbage.

Donā€™t care if Pruitt denies the media the rest of the tiny bit of access they currently get. Respectable guys like VQ should get their kind in line if they want more admission.

Pruitt and co are doing their best to fix this **** while the media seemingly believes the grave isnā€™t deep enough.

Just another reason why coaches donā€™t want to come here. This **** is seriously a ****ing joke at this point.

Eh. Not that big of a deal. Yeah, he was talking some ish but so do a lot of people in handcuffs. Banks didn't say anything I haven't heard on a nightly basis for years.

It's like some of y'all don't realize that these kids come from communities that have a ton of not-so-fun interactions with police. I recently had a 11 year old tell me that he didn't talk to police...made me sad. I stopped what I was doing and told him that we're not his enemy and that, if he ever needed our help, we would be there, regardless of who you are, what you've done in your past or who your family and friends are...but sometimes we have to arrest people. That's life. That's the game. He shook my hand and didn't say anything but...I tried.

Banks comes from Memphis. Is it any surprise that he has there opinion he does?

Hopefully JP makes him run until he pukes.

Waking up to this black eye Adams and Co. delivered. I hate this age of social media we live in. Opinions are like a-holes, everyone has one, but that doesn't mean its necessary to flash it all the time.

Pruitt is right. In his time here he has endured some silly crap. But he has no idea that he hasn't scratched the surface yet. Once the witch hunt begins, and its coming....He's never seen a circus this big.

People clamoring for his firing already. Put aside the coaching, leadership, development, lack of wins, etc aspect of it all. The minute he gets fired he will be an SEC DC in less than a week, and likely one of our rivals. How do you expect the next guy to jump start anything when the gump who just got ran off, who coincidentally has several championship rings as a DC, is going in recruits homes venting and telling the families what a toxic city Knoxville is? How no one here wants to win and the people who control the narrative are hell bent on burying the program? How the legions of the miserable all think they have the solution to the problem and shout it from mountain tops? Take a look from the outside in and do tell what coach worth two ***** in a pot would come near this place when all they see is flames rising through the trees. He may or may not be the answer, but at least let him work the math problem. If he fails, he fails. We should all be use to that anyway. But if he's ran outta town so quickly, I'm afraid the fallout will crush whatever sliver of hope we have of climbing out of the abyss.

Apathy.... It sucks when you begin to accept your wrongful but warranted place.

If so and he becomes coach I hope Tennessee never wins another game.......

Youā€™re speaking on what banks said...not what Pruitts reaction was to the police call as to why they had him pulled over and heā€™s right,it is silly S**tšŸ‘€šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™‚ļø Iā€™m more embarrassed for banks.Not Pruitt.

The bigger problem is Pruitt and the program having to continually deal with stuff like this during game week, instead of focusing completely on prep for the game. It distracts the team. I still think the Haslams are pushing every single negative hit piece they can to try to sink Fulmer/Pruitt. Surely Fulmer and his side arenā€™t pushing this, because Fulmer knows he made a mistake with this hire, and he can use this as grounds for dismissal without paying the buyout? If that happens to be the case, which I donā€™t think it is, our program is fully nuked and may never recover (and it may not anyways).

Idc about the banks and Pruitt situation. Banks is obviously out from partying probably at least sobering up. So people say dumb shi* all the time. Iā€™m thankful that the cop handled it all well tbh. Couldā€™ve ran across a cop that has had a bad shift or axe to grind then god knows what happens. It was stupid for the request to ever be made to get this footage. Now that itā€™s out tho you probably have to suspend him for a game just bc itā€™s the 2nd incident of threatening to shoot people.

We are getting looks from five stars, one is visiting this weekend.

How about the fact Pruitt was on the phone that early because he cares about his players. The fact that a players parents could trust Pruitt to be there for their son if he makes a mistake. Did you just sit in your dorm and play with yourself in college? We all did stupid stuff and some, like banks, worse than others. Iā€™ve been in Memphis my whole life, where banks is from, and unfortunately some of these kids believe police are there to harm them.

Being so damn negative, like the local media is going to keep this program down longer and longer.

Pruitt is a football coach, unlike the last two. And he is recruiting sec football players. Let the man build longer than 15 minutes.

I completely agree here. Just said in a post Iā€™m from Memphis and cops get it bad here. But some of them arenā€™t the friendliest because of it. I think banks messed up but it doesnā€™t sound like he was verbally assaulting anyone, just being dumb. Regardless that office deserves credit because he had every right to make banks night a lot worse.
