One of those movies that you know is quality but have difficulty staying awake for the appreciation part.Came across one on Netflix last night and said what the hell:
Moonlight: 7/10
Solid movie, made some poignant observations about growing up gay in the black community, especially during the crack epidemic. I get it from that angle, but I don’t know how the hell it won best picture. It simply wasn’t that good.
Stuber...7/10, was funnier than I thought it would be, they had good chemistry.
In The Tall Grass 7/10 entertaining little Stephen King/Joe Hill horror movie. They did a lot with it considering the limitations of the environment.
Surprisingly, Tucker and Dale vs Evil was a pretty good movie!
