What I forsee is that the class won't be what we expect/need. We won't get more than maybe one of the blue chippers that we've been wanting and we'll lose a few that have been committed. The usual posters will chastise anyone who freaks out and try to convince us that Pruitt is recruiting for his system and this was never going to be a higjly rated class. Next season won't be much better than the current one except that we may scratch out 6 wins. The peanut gallery will insist that a trip to the weedeater bowl is a sign of progress and we'll miss the window to replace Pruitt before he stacks lackluster classes thereby digging the hole a little deeper for the next guy.All things considered, UTAD has to choose carefully. Was firing used car salesman premature? Do we really want to go in farther with another change? Will any legit candidate want to take on a full rebuild job with high expectations & 2 years to do it?
If Jeremy can keep this class in tact im good. not happy, but good. i think its easier to go from pro style to spread than from spread to pro, personnel wise. at least i hope thats issue

"Embarrassed"? We beat them by 6 points. Anyway, the main thing I see is their OL really has developed and improved since last year. Defense remains solid, and is even better since it is on the field less with the offense moving the ball and Gus back to calling plays.
So I don't post very often, don't usually have anything to add. But today I had a cool experience I wanted to share. I stopped to fill up my lawn mower and gas can at a local station her in NE Oklahoma. When I pulled in, I noticed a rather large gentleman looking at my power T license plate, but didn't think much of it. After I went in and paid for my gas and beer, this gentleman approached me and asked me if that T was for Texas or Tennessee. Of course I answered it was a Volunteer power T and his face lit up. He said I thought so, I want to introduce myself. Lo and behold Doug Furness introduced himself to me and shook my hand. It was a wow moment for me. And just for it is worth, he is a still a big man. Just thought I would share.

yawn...................................when you take a break from looking down your nose at those of us in the peanut gallery, go check out how your boy is doing in LA again. What I forsee is that the class won't be what we expect/need. i thought ND looked a lot better than i thought against UGA. and i kinda figured UVA would give htem a game. emotional let down from the week before, a better than advertised UVA team coming in...kinda set up for a dog fight either way.ND barely got by a meh Virginia team, at home . They will probably make the playoff, because of their poopoo schedule, and then get trucked.

You've been Vandyized as a fan if you declare a 6 point win "embarrassing" someone. Especially when describing a 5-7 team's win over a 7-5 team. I hope you are stretching regularly if you are going to make that kind of reach.Sunk that low? We were 4-8 and 15.5 point dogs.
But that wasn't even close to the point.

that said, i think you're right, if they get in to the play off, they don't last long.
i don't think they make the play off though. i think the SEC has an excellent shot at getting 2 in. then it's OU and OSU barring something weird happening with either/both of them.
