I do not think that was the point. Announcers are supposed to be neutral. Take college game day for example, if one of them is calling a game they do not make a prediction for that game because they are supposed to be neutral. I think everyone know that Alabama has been on quite the run. I do not think people want to hear from the announcers how good Alabama is when their team plays Alabama. It is unprofessional.

You could argue that Alabama fans are tired of watching the dominance as well or at least the students are. Saban has been complaining about fans leaving early and they also created an app to track students to see if they are staying the whole game. I believe they offer rewards for people staying.

The only ones that i have seen work like that are those tunnel screens where a WR from the outside comes back behind the OL.

This is going to sound dumb and obvious but i was watching rams film and i think we need to run our offense exactly like theirs. They pretty much go 11 personnel (3wr 1rb 1te) the entire game. Give Jennings about 15 targets a game out of the slot and chandler/gray 5-8 out of the backfield matched up with a MLB. I know for a fact those guys can win matchups and pick up extra yards after an easy completion.

Why go for two? If you thought TL was going to march down the field and get in FG range, they still win the game if the TPC was successful. I don’t understand that call.

The concern was OT.
They were crawling across the finish line, you take one play to win vs the #1 team or series of downs... you take the play
