Pretty sure Beasley has that role filled. Tank needs to stay at safety and take Warriors job.
I think Beasley and Tank both end up playing ILB by next year .. we are that low on ILB depth. One of them could easily start opposite Henry T next year. JJP and Banks would be their only competition.

I think Keyshon Lawrence will end up battling for Warrior's spot on day 1 when he arrives. We also still have Jackson, Flowers and Fields that will be battling for the 2 Safety positions with newcomers Keyshon Lawrence and Mordecai McDaniel if they stay committed.

If y'all had to take a guess today, what is our final recruiting class ranked for 2020?
If Pruitt is still the coach and there is some hope for the future (QB position), then I think 12-15 is about right. This would mean we kept the current commitments and also added Baron, Hardy, and the Memphis kids + a few "players to be named later".

Anyway, I’m done with this fight.

Pruitt has not done a good job so far and you all know it. No amount of excuses will change it.

We have the talent to - at minimum - win 3 of our remaining games. If we do not, he SHOULD be fired and I believe he will be.

Anything less than a bowl game this year (which ain’t gonna happen) will result in a lame duck season next year and we’ll have effectively pushed off the coaching search for 12 months.

You all can pretend we’re a QB away or heading in the right direction all you want but things will have to totally flip for Pruitt to keep his job. It doesn’t matter what we’re “rooting for” or hoping to happen. This ain’t like tinkerbell where we’re only successful if we believe really hard.

Blah blah blah, I’ve fought this fight for nothing. I’m moving on.

Later, rednecks.
Who the hell said he has "done a good job" so far. Problem is you can't segregate. He has done some really good things (which you brush off in order to focus on nothing but the negative). And he has done some things just kinda alright. And he has done some things tuuuurible. And there have been some things that have happened that's have been out of his control. That's facts of things that have already happened. It is what it is. The deal moving forward is about what will he do moving forward. He is a first time HC who moved up thru the ranks faster than you would like. So he skipped some steps along the way (because of how good he was at those jobs). What nobody knows is how quickly, or if at all, will he learn from mistakes and what kind of HC he will be in 1 year? 3 years? Etc? But this fallacy that because the job has overwhelmed him a bit so far means he loses all the qualities that moved him up the coaching ladder so fast is dumb.

The entire justification of keeping Jeremy Pruitt around is built on the question “what if he figures it out?” There’s literally no other substance to it.

That and realizing the odds of UT hiring a better coach at this juncture are slim to none. History supports that we tend to screw these things up, so maybe, just maybe, the best thing to do right now is nothing.

Take your ball and go home then. If the fact that some disagree with your opinion on the proper fix upsets you so much, maybe you should question if your cut out for message boards? People aren't dismissing what you're saying, just disagreeing on what the fix should be. Your whole argument rests on us hiring a better coach. You're ignoring the fact recent history supports we have no idea how to do that. I'm not sure why you think that changes this time. Nothing supports that it will change IMO. At the very least, let Pruitt finish the season before you continue on with the he needs to be fired rant.

You're not the only one pissed at what has been going on. We all are. Just because we disagree with firing Pruitt right now doesn't mean we are any less upset. The goal of every Tennessee fan is to see this program return to its winning ways.
