Official Gramps' Memorial Eternal OT Thread

There is an incredible amount of info on Reddit...its the 3rd busiest website on earth. There is a subreddit for just about ANYTHING on earth you are interested in. Seriously.

It is hard to deal with anything in the main feed though. Users on average are very young and liberal...meaning ignorant. I get called a "boomer" pretty regularly because I domt want to be a socialist when I grow up...or ever. FWIW I am 42...by the last chart I saw, I am just barely a GenX...my wife is 37 and actually considered a millennial. Apparently the 5 year gap between us is the cutoff...1980 I think. My parents are boomers. Lol...sure hope these kids really wake up...if not this country will be a socialist dump for most of my kids lives and surely implode.

So the hate chikin shop near my job is the greatest. They pack as many nuggets as they can possibly fit in the box for a 12 pack...usually 15 or so. I already took a big fatty out of this box...this the space.

BTW...you can upsize your fries so it actually fills you up without upsizing the drink and getting ripped off. So 15 nuggets a large fry and a medium drink is 8.88 after tax here.

Couple kids ago I would definitely be getting in a brawl next weekend if those clowns tried to checker Neyland. Even if I couldnt find tickets, me and the boys would go downtown and stomp dawg azz on the strip just to set the record straight. Hard to brag on sportscenter or to your buddies back in jawja with your jaw wired shut, or a shiner that can be seen from space.

Georgia fans in general are trash. Been to Sanford one time, would not want to go back. I’ve never seen that many fights between fans of the same team at a home game.

I witnessed something similar @ Fayetteville and Little Rock. Arkansas fans were easy going, except the ones that were beating the crap out of a one another.

No need to waste your time on them. They call us hillbillies and rednecks, yet...the movie Deliverance was filmed in their state with the extras cast from the surrounding local areas. They own that sh#t. F'em.

Anybody stay up late Thursday night going into early Friday morning watching the marathon of James Bond movies that were on the TCM station? I could only handle the last I saw at 12:45 am. This one was w/Pierce Brosnan as 007 fighting Russians. This was 1995 GoldenEye. It also had Sean Bean and Famke Janssen & Joe Don Baker. The thing w/Sean Bean........playing 006 they killed him off early in the film. A super stunt at the first of the movie was when Bond on a motorcycle rides off a very high cliff diving after an airplane while getting to it in mid-air.

Not to mention that the show "The Walking Dead" is filmed there because they require minimal makeup.

I'm old school and have a Tivo so I don't have to stay up late or watch commercials.

They're for old farts like us that can't sleep and have to get up and pee 3 times a night.

Exactly.........but don't start these movies at 10 or 11 pm. I slept til 8:30 this morning.....day was shot then.
I'm still waiting for an all night Tarzan movie marathon......love Tarzan movies w/Johnny Weissmuller.

Get a Tivo, you're 15 years late but get one. The kiddo's like streaming which I hate, too slow and dependent on internet.

Back in our younger days....it was great staying up all night watching scary movies & old B&W Laurel & Hardy stuff. Those 3 stooges B&W shorts were great too. Don't forget Lou & Costello meet Frankenstein.

I got up at 4 am for a gazillion years. It took me about a year to sleep later than that, now I'm at 7:30 and I only get up then because my dog puts his head in my face to see if I'm still alive.
